Usb headset good or bad?

Is anybody using a USB headset and playing GM(ghostmode)

Can u hear ghost breath and footsteps good like good good not ya fine

Please post the module/type of the headset so I can check what kinda hardware it has!
So I know what I can expect...

logitech g35

it hears breath and steps fine but low breath + fast b hop at you is very hard to hear with any headset

it's usb. it replaces whatever soundcard your pc has with its own. basicly if u have a stock/cheap soundcard, it is worth buying a USB headset.

I use a razer cacharias and they ruined ghost mode by putting low breath in. I cant hear ghosts at all but without it i hear them perfectly.

3.5mm is what i use but usb is just as fine. If you have a nice sound card, you should get a 3.5mm

atm i'm using a cheap headset 6 euro's worth xD

If nobody on the team is spraying I can still hear peeps with BD....
so ya it's probably my soundcard but I was hoping the usb would be good enough...

I used logitech for about a year or so. But I broke them...they were excellent. It was USB too.

I have Razer Megalodon with the Maelstrom Audio Engine, at first it was a little hard to hear breaths but then I bumped the Bass a little bit and it got better :P

earbuds don't have the same ear-to-ear sound headsets do.

My friend is using earpluges to and he can hear ghost fine but when the use breath down he can't even hear them when the are next to him xD

I don't got that problem, my soundcard is good so I guess I will just buy a normal headphone
I saw some DJ headsets that got some outstanding sound performance gone try one those out for GM

The are probably just using the sound driver manager of realtek you just put the settings to live and increase the wave sound and you can hear ghost better
but hmm if u mean something else than please post the link I wanna see that programme xD

Tritton AX Pro AMAZING DUDE 4 speakers a cup
G35 Really good and decent.
Astro A40's too expensive, Trittons and Logitech would be a better choice.

Tritton got amazing sound, but the quality = 1 word Sh1t , sh1t of the sh1t...
