Reporting is a time consuming process

After making thread yesterday showing how reported people appear to not be banned even after 2 months

[INFO REMOVED]

Today i have just reported 3 people with all info supplied screenshots replays info etc. will check every week in clans to see if people are still active.
After last15 people reported with accurate info only 1 was not active so i don't hold much hope but as i love this game.i have at least tried to do my bit.hope z8 can do theirs. If they have no time or there are too many to look at.please then at least tell us because reporting[uploading photos etc] is a time consuming process and i don't want to have wasted this time in vain.

  • Should've just pm'd a GM they can give you a short simple answer. :)

I have also done that. But i am still awaiting a response.
  • Making threads is also a time consuming process.
  • We realize there's been some issues with the process, but the amount of reports received is flabbergasting. Sometimes reports are lost, some are done after the scanning software ban them, so they believe someone already looked at the report.

As of now, after the holidays there will be a bit of a back up as right now there are staff working, but not full staff.

If the person is not banned after a good while, and he solidly blatantly hacks, feel free to PM me and I will put the person in my hack report which I give right to the GMs.

But as for this thread, posting about a hacker is against the forum rules. So I removed the name/clan/links.

And yes, Reporting is time consuming, but it's worth it making this game cleaner. Especially if the person is a higher rank.

Ok thanks at least you kindly took some time to reply. Also for info about rules i was not aware of that.

By the way in case anyone wants to pm saidin unfortunately this is what you will get

[GM]Saidin has exceeded their stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space.

He receives a full inbox about every day, and since he hasn't been on to much due to his holiday break, it is full.

But if it's the hack report you want to send him, just PM me it and I'll look over it and I'll put it in our stash for people to be banned.
  • I was just reviewing all the people i reported in october [its around 15/20 people].

What i just noticed is that only one of these people i reported has the honourable ribbon.Does this mean then that they got a one week ban from the automated process.Afterwards it appears that they can continue without the report from myself being taken into consideration.
Is there anyway crossfire can review all reports again relating to people that got one week ban to see if other reports are in the system against these individuals.Where the penalty would/should be a permanent ban?
