Your best weapons for MM?
I'd like to see the general opinions of the community.
As for me, I like to use my M4-Custom frequently, as it packs the punch of an assault rifle, yet doesn't weigh me down when I'm running away. Basically, I go for light, silenced assault rifles.
I have mixed opinions about the other classes.
-Snipers: No, just no.
-Machine guns: Excellent for camping, horrible for running away.
-Submachine guns: Excellent for running away, however does not push back wonderfully; especially when a group of mutants are chasing you.
Switching to knife/using a pistol has not been included as a factor above.

I have to disagree with many of your statements:- Sniper are really good, but you need cover. Try sniping on the light in Zone 13th with someone who has a MG,

- MGs are good for camping, indeed, that's totally true, but all of them, except Gatling, are good for running.
- SMGs maybe don't make as much damage as rifle and snipers, but they are good when it's time for running away from 15 mutants,
MP5 is the best.

I tried out M12s (I know it's Noob wappon) while i was destroying that wappon and it kills mutant like nothing else. Hold it on their head, pressfire and do 2000 - 3000 dmg per magazine.
I even like the m60 adv. It has got enough ammo to kill any mutant you can find.
And the knife is fine to run away

Gatling gun totally! camp and hold off ten mutants while doing INSANE damage! Only flaws are the noobs who are like, "Ill trade you my m16 for your gatling gun, plox plox plox!" And I laugh when they just drop it infront of me and i just ignore them, but they keep dropping it thinking i didnt see the first time. Then as they keep dropping and picking up they get mutated and i spray em into a corner and fkin destroy them haha!

There are two main strategies in MM: Running-and-Gunning or Camping. Actually, there are three strategies, and the third one is being a noob and downloading hacks and killing all the mutants... but we'll only discuss the first two strategies xD
For Running-and-Gunning, I prefer to use either my AK-knife or AK-camo with my DE-camo. Other than the AKs, I only use my M4-custom for Running-and-Gunning.
For camping, I use my RPK-gold, with the MM clip and extended ammo clip=120/360 bullets, and I use that with my other DE-camo(I love that gun lol).
Sometimes I'll take out other guns that have been rotting in Storage for a few months to have fun with them in MM, but I think the guns above are the only ones I use on a normal basis -
I mainly use the RPK/RPK-gold + deagle camo.
I also have a M60 and had the 30 days M60-adv but i dont use it anymore for MM.
The M60 is great for very close distance but when shooting long range the recoil will kill your firing rate (and when you have a lot of ammo you need to get rid of it). The RPK does very well in both close as long range.
The deagle-camo is the best pistol imho for MM. It has the fasted reload of all deagles and has 9 bullets in a mag. The gold has 10 but reloads much slower so the firing rate of the camo might be even higher. I very often rely on the deagle because you often dont have a chance to reload, especially when you are the last man standing.
I can hold off a whole bunch of mutants for a minute with just a deagle and good walking.
As for the other guns like regular rifles and smg's: If you want to make a lot of points as a soldier a MG is always better. People using these guns almost always rely on other people when it comes to killing a mutant. With a good MG you can kill multiple mutants in a round on your own, just corner them and spray them dead xD. After that the mutants will run away from you instead you from them ^^
It might also be worthwhile to get a mutation mag and MG mag. I even have two mutation mags (one from ZP crate, other from GP) and have 600 ammo for my RPK-gold so i rarely run out of ammo. Also when you pick up a gun from supplies you get more ammo which is extremely useful if you pick up a mp5 or so. -
