Usually because the rules the poster is breaking don't warrant a permament ban. I'm surprised racism isn't more punished though.
i rarely hear it punished in real life anyway, and mostly the NA racism, is just response to "gringo" insults by the br's, both sides are so alike.....why do we fight? -

How do you know that? Are you the all powerful ruler of the cosmos? Are you inherently able to tell who is just in their reaction and who is not?
That mentality is what has not only killed this community, but beaten its corpse beyond recognition. If you truly think like that then you are among the worst here, and if so the following applies directly to you.
Let them hate, let them rage, nothing will change their mind, nothing will sway them.
They will curse them, blame them, threaten them, and even cry about them.
And in the end it will all mean nothing. Those people will forever be like that.
And I pity them. -
Well tbh, US south server did help this "BR issue", remember how filled Delta used to be? And how much BRs there were in there. Now Delta is really empty. And I'm just going to say something, my other BR friend, he isn't very good with english, but I manage. I asked him why he never plays in US South Server, and his response was "there are too many hackers, no fun

? my response was largely neutral, with out taking a side i didnt say who was just in their actions but said that both sides act similarily and fight for pointless reasons when both sides contradict their own arguements -

well this being a english post only forum thats probably the main reason, but i've seen a br guy before with good arguments that defended that br's that i fundamentally agreed with
and enter a game, guy with 40 ping calls br's noob laggers, then 200 pinger calls him racker nob gringo, and it escalates into a very annoying flame war that blocks a quarter of my screen with text -

I believe the term "community" was previously defined as the Forum Community.
I would very much like to have this person you "fundamentally agree with" post his arguments on these forums. I feel that some people need to see them. -

Interesting, I didn't know about taxes there. If that's true I can't blame them for their ping.
However, I still stand by my ideals that it is unethical to force a child in kindergarten to play with one that is sick and ruins all experience of fun for that child. -
Blame yourselves guys, it's not one nation that's ruining the game. You gotta change yourself before you can change others. You (NA/UK players) trash talk and complain about EVERYTHING! From patches and in-game items to events; Tournaments/events that GMs/MODS, and even WOGL, they spend their time to host things for you, what do they get in return? Complaint, insults and more complaints and never say "thanks" or "I had fun". I rather (and always do) play in Bravo and Charlie with the BRs for 2 reasons, they don't trash talk and they don't take this game as serious as most of the NA/UK players. When I play with NA/UK players its always frustration and people with ego. Oh, I can't forget that first question when I join a room, "when are you going to ban all the BRs".
BRs hack? You can't tell me NA/UK players don't. I've caught MANY NA/UK players using hacks, but they hide it. They don't show it or make it as obvious but they do hack. Lets take K0lby for example, I'm the one that caught him. I've played with him for 3 days straight without noticing. But he started complaining about a BR in that game.. what did I do? Watched replay but the player doesn't enter until half-way, therefore I watched k0lby.. and BAM, hypocrisy was his motto (same for many and I bet some of you reading this do exactly what he did). I'm just bringing it forward to prove a point, lets not discuss k0lby in this thread.
Making threads like the one Pollo did in fan-works isn't going to change anything, in fact it'll just make things worse for you guys.
So as I said, you should blame NA/UK players just as much as you blame BRs. If you want to play "competitive", trash talk all the time, and hate M12s users than just play in "echo 8" with your egos. Change yourself, your people than ask GMs to do something about the BRs.[...]

What I'm trying to figure out is this:
I know the hostility towards Brazilians did not exist to this extreme in early-mid 2009. So, where did it come from? Where did the hostility of the Brazilians towards other people come from in this game? You can't tell me that they are the ones at fault here. Sadly, I am convinced that the ignorance and hostility of others (NA/UK and abroad) have brought on the attitude that the Brazilians have against others in this game. It is not just one sided at fault here. But, you can't sit there and tell me that they started it. I don't believe it for one second.
I understand high ping makes it difficult to play. But carrying such hostility towards a nation for how they act? Treat others as you like to be treated. Maybe they wouldn't be so hostile if our side wasn't so hostile. Ever think of that? It seems to turn into, "They treat me like that, so I'm going to treat them the same way."

I would suggest that CS banning the country as a whole is a step in that direction. People hate just to hate. BR's are not at fault here, I know I never intended to imply or infer that. I believe that it came from inside people. Human beings do not get along well on the whole. And the fact that a person with high ping is so detrimental to a game that relies on fast reaction time and infinitesimal delays between equipment is by no means not understandable. People are, in my opinion, justly angry at those people. Some simply take it to a knew hight by making it seem like they do it on purpose, that they have a choice in the matter. Those are the people you (MODs) are expected to deal with. -
Alright, this is getting a little silly. I understand some of you are frustrated with the perceived state of the game and those who play it. Regardless of whether all Brazilians hack or if none of them do, it does not change the fact that several of you are breaking forum rules and abusing forum features. It's a poor use of the Z8 staff's time to go around and change privileges for individual users who break the rules. Would you honestly prefer that the staff stop working on existing problems and micromanage every forumer who thinks they're above the rules? As much as we'd all love it, being angry doesn't excuse us from proper conduct anywhere in life, and it doesn't excuse you from the rules clearly laid out here. If the simplest way to enforce these rules is for Z8 to remove features for everyone, that's most likely what will happen. Get mad at your peers who force this choice on us, not the staff who enforce the policies that have been in place since any of you came here.

Last I checked I was the only one left in this thread who's not a MOD.
I agree with taking away unnecessary tidbits on the forums. But if all this has sprung up over ping capped rooms then I'm more disappointed then before. Things shouldn't be this out of hand. These kids need to grow up before they jump to conclusions, but I do believe we are within our rights to ask for an implementation of a ping cap feature. Feel free to show me how we are not if I am wrong. -
