I have no idea what has incited such a heated conversation, but I have my two cents as well.
Because banning an entire nation is both racist and impractical, why then, do we not have more control over the specifications of a room? This is not kindergarten, we should not all be forced to "play nice", the game is rated "T" for god's sake. I thoroughly think that the CF community, not the kids on here, but the community as a whole, should be treated more like an adult. By that I mean more respectfully, but not by the admins, the GMs, the MODs, they do that just fine, it's the community itself that needs to man up.
These forums are sometimes like reading the review of a product. The only people who care enough to write such a review are usually those who are on the two polar extremes of either liking it, or hating it. That said, there are millions of people who play this game, srsly it's true, and the two odd dozen players that are the "Most vocal" and "Most influential" are also
1) English speaking
2) Way to high up on that horse (Elitest)
3) Racist
But also
4) Calm
5) Suportive
6) Willing to make a difference
Those two odd dozen people are a incredibly poor representative of the general public. I encourage them to stop acting like the ambassador of all players to prevent any further idiotic displays of "QQing", "Great Ideas", and the like.
In conclusion these are my views on this community, I have no hopes for it. There are none, there shouldn't be. It is broken beyond repair and will remain so until it disbands. There are those who will try to fix it, they will try hard, but they will fail. I am unable to see the people who play this game cooperate with anyone, let alone someone they hate with a passion for no reason other than their latency.
Let them hate, let them rage, nothing will change their mind, nothing will sway them.
They will curse them, blame them, threaten them, and even cry about them.
And in the end it will all mean nothing. Those people will forever be like that.
And I pity them. -
We just blame one nation because we see tehm most in-game. I see a lot of hackers that speak english and have 50-100 ping.I highly doubt anything will change now. The people still have their avatars.
The problem isn't just one nation people, for you guys are the ones making the big deal out of it. -

No, this is just the topic that pushed the whole situation over the edge. It is obviously not getting through to a lot of people that rules are rules. The rules have been stated and we have REPEATEDLY had to deal with this issue. What more can be done? The blatant disrespect of the majority of the forum is absolutely ridiculous. The topic regarding nationality, that is just one of the layers. We've tried being lenient, look where it has gotten us.
Now we have multiple people representing themselves with avatars on the topic of certain groups being in this game. People writing in their signatures about certain groups being in this game. It IS offensive and it is not just isolated to a few people. We have multiple users that break rules on a daily basis with NO regards to consequences and we as Moderators even get crap for doing our jobs. When we enforce the rules, we look like the bad guys to a lot of you. It's time to grow up. Something has to be done. The actions of more than just a few brought this on. -
If this community wants to be treated like adults, they have to act like it.
The way they react to this, sends the message that perhaps some should go back to kindergarten.
The random people that come on and complain, our own known community members, acting like they never got out of Pre-k. It's sad.
Both sides would like more options, such as ping limited rooms, G4Box is always trying to push ideas, Unfortunately sometimes the amount of money/work/staff just isn't there enough. If and when it's possible, the next step will take place, but taking a big step into a certain area just won't cut it.
It's a cinch by an inch, but hard by the yard.
There's always something to try to help, even if you guys don't realize it. But most this community needs to learn patience and understanding. They react without the knowledge of what it is they are talking about. -

So be it, what has to be done has to be done. But might I suggest trying out being more strict with the ones causing the problem first, then if that fails then move to more drastic measures. -

When I am talking about "Most this community" I am talking about the ones that are causing the issue. This is why I said it after what I did.
We have banned and infract to many people to see no change. They either wait to be unbanned, or just come on an alt.
If you have seen it lately, and all the threads we have deleted today and the past days, it's most all the threads that have been made.
I'm not talking out of anger, I am talking out of disappointment because I know some of these people are not this bad.

Eventually they will give up, there is no limit to what you can do I know that, but there is the limit they give themselves, eventually they will give up.

Why can't out CrossFire Community learn to play with them in peace? Many of the nation are here just for fun, yet they are frowned and raged at for things not of their fault, such as ping, and others hacking.
Our community has made a bigger deal out of it then it needs.
The problem isn't the nation, it's the hacks, the hack makers, those are the ones needed to be targeted, not a whole nation. -

I would have to disagree with you on that. You should see the amount of moderation that is done on a daily basis. The deleted threads that you can not see or the posts that are moved to the bin (that you can not see) are just the top layer of the cake. The majority of this community do not act like adults, but we do our best to keep it somewhat civil. So without seeing what we do, I can understand where you would get that impression. But, unfortunately, it is not the case here. -

We do, trust me, if you were on the day where I took care of Treni and his 20 alts. But the simple fact is, the Forum Community needs to work with us if they want the best results, and not against us as some have been recently. -

You have to understand that we can only control this part of the actual CF community. As Moderators, it is our job to keep THESE people in line. 3 out of 5 people within these forums act like little children most of the time. Hard numbers? No, but this is what I see. Almost always, somewhere, there is someone complaining about something. Almost every time I log in, there is someone posting an offensive thread/post or breaking another forum rule. This community (the forum part) needs a slap in the head, plain and simple. If Saidin has to treat them like that, then so be it.
Addressing your statements on infractions. Trust me, this road has been visited. I have in fact seen more people NOT give up and simply keep creating alternate accounts. Most of these incidents, they did NOT give up. They just kept coming back to create more trouble. We do have lives too and can not be on here all the time. The disregard for rules has become absolutely ridiculous. It's time something more drastic be done. -

You are MODs for a reason, you are here for a reason, I would expect you to know what you signed up for, which is more than a namecard and a couple thousand zp every now and then. but such is the nature of the internet, people will act different from their real life because they can, im sure the trolls in this forums would get punched in the face if they pulled their **** irl so they bring their trash here, and there really isnt all that much anyone can do about it -

I remember back when the CF barracks were filled with fun threads and things that didn't have to do with QQing or Problems.
Now every thread is "I reported but he's not banned", "I didn't get my ribbon", "I hate this game", "Too much laggers", "Damn BRs are kicking me, wtf", etc.
Now I just go between Fan Works and Off-Topic. I don't really care muc hfor Barracks anymore. -
