Im gonna go the complete opposite of what Dot has said simply based on the fact, neither of us have the numbers. I find it highly unlikely Brazil etc, make up the majority of the ZP purchases as they are essentially a developing country as such. As goes with most of South America. Europe and US will undoubtly be the major contributors there. Yes G4Box is a company and yes their main goal is to turn over a profit... but it isnt their only goal.

Although, I agree with Dot. Adding an IP restriction to the game would be a poor decision for the continued growth of the game. Not to mention how impractical that "solution" is. Cutting out a major portion of the games players will not only cause the companies to lose money but the game as a whole will decline. If the game was restricted to the countries the game was licensed for (that being UK, NA and Canada), How do you think the game will continue with only 3 countries playing them?
Yes, you can argue that the Japanese version is IP restricted to Japanese IP's.... but that is because the game is unbelievably popular in Asia... hence the multiple asian versions. They have a large enough player base.
NOTE: Only the website is IP restricted..... Not the game. And theres a good reason for that

Core, your theory of "G4Box does nothing" is completely backwards. G4Box do an unbelieveable amount of work, but the bases of the game come down to the developers. SmileGate.

G4Box have limited say upon the coding of the game. They own PUBLISHING rights. They do not/can not develop the game. If they want something implemented, it will have to go through SmileGate and apporved and coded by them. This goes along with IP restrictions and caps. If SmileGate says no.. then thats it. End of story unless they change their mind. This goes back to my point before about the IP restrictions. If they say no then they wont do it... and from what Ive heard, theres a particularly important reason on WHY they wouldnt add restrictions... that doesnt involve money before you pull out that card.
BRAZIL IS NOT A 'CASH COW' TO G4BOX..... no matter how you look at it or convince yourself of it.

Now that I come to think of it... Is there a F2P FPS game out there, with ping caps/restrictions (Not counting CF JP since its only their website that is restricted)? Not as far as Im aware of.

Now that Ive covered the South American....... problem.., if you can say that..., I will go on to some of your other points... namely the Kick Voting.

I agree with everyone. The kick voting is abused. I have thrown alternative solutions and ideas at the GM's in regards to this and they have read other solutions on the forum. However they have all been met with the same responce. It will end with one of the 2 extremes. Remove it... or keep it.
Unfortunately, the benefits of the system outweigh the negatives and untill the Kick Vote becomes an unmanageble problem, then its staying.

Your theory on NA starting to hack and having you resulting in being removed is ridiculous. If you hack on this game, you WILL be banned not matter how long it takes.
There are multiple reasons as to why players may appear to remain unbanned... and this count simply be reports getting lost in the system as it most probably does since there are more tickets sent in than G4Box can handle. Another reason is the sheer numbers of tickets sent in. G4Box are considerably backlogged with tickets and after the Christmas break is over, I dread to think what the Support Staff will have to deal with.
A final theory is Dot's theory. It makes sense and is possible that this is the case. The AutoBan DOES work. Im constantly barraged with ticket where the player has been banned by the autoban only to find that the user has hacked, has hacked 'before' or had another hack detected by XTrap as Malicious Software. It works.
Also, if you are reported and found to be hacking, you WILL recieve a permanent ban. I have recently come across a person who has had that happened to them and has infact been permanently banned. The 7-Day ban is a result of the AutoBan and increases drastically on repeat offenders and results in a perm ban.

I do agree with the support system. There does need to be major improvements made and they are being made. Behind the scenes of course. However, the most obvious one is the fact that the Web Form has been drastically improved.

No. We dont have to be on G4Box's side for anything. You are right. We are players with an opinion... however our opinions are based on fact. You lot dont see or hear of what happens at G4Box. You dont see what they do on a daily basis... what they deal with. We do. We ask questions. If we see something wrong, we ask whats happened, why as it happened, whats going to be done and how. That is what we base our opinions and posts off of.
You can all convince yourself that G4Box are a horrible company but in the end its where one person has manipulated a post to express a false view and everyone just hops onto the bandwagon and become sheep that spread these accusations around.. Eventually this has snowballed into what we have now.... An angry mob where their views and opinions are based of false accusations and made up conspiracies against a company.

The hacking situation. I see thread after thread about hackers and how bad XTrap are doing. It seems GameGuard has been long forgotten by everyone and the problems with such a system. XTrap has become a blessing to all and has stopped an uncountable number of hacks. The best we hoped for from GG was a patch once a month where the hacks would be patched for a day or 2. XTrap permanently patches hacks... it may take longer but that is much more preferrable solution to a quick fix where the hack is updated in a matter of hours and redistributed again.
People seem to have a inaccurate view of what an Anti-Cheat does. An AC cannot detect a hack it doesnt know. The newer hacks will be able to bypass XTrap as it isnt stored in the AC's database and it is completely invisible to it. However, once the AC knows what the hack is, it will stop it from ever working with that game while the AC is in place.
XTrap is undoubtably, one of the best F2P AC's out at the moment.

On a final note, I will say this. The majority of you have been mislead.. whether you know it or not. You can argue with me about the legitimacy of your points and how they are 100% true without any proof or from what you have 'seen'.
Also with this campaign about sending tickets to force an IP Restriction on the game.... I can tell you now... with 100% accuracy that it will only end up badly... for you lot in the long term. Support will be backed up with tickets. Noone will get banned. Noone will get the help they need. It is a totally impractical protest with consequences that will backfire on you... The player. The customer. With the part about resubmitting tickets getting you banned... that is when a user will send 2 tickets a day... every day, containing the exact same information. That is spam and is unnecessary which is why that rule is in place.

I am going to leave this thread open for continued discussion. I am interested in seeing what you all make with this post.
