What say the Community:
So, time for another thread on those petty little noobs.
A few random questions, which have been asked before, however Z8 will never answer:
1. Why is it that a player can be reported today...and 2 months later still be playing (i.e; One shot hackers, Aimbot Hackers and shooting through walls Hackers)?
2. Why is it that Brazil is still playing our version of CF?
3. If Brazil is such a "Cash Cow" like it is, why not give them dedicated servers?
4. Don't you think that if you got ride of Brazilian Players from our version of CF that more US/UK players would stick around and I don't know...spend a few bucks?
5. If every other version of CF restricts IP Address's, why is it that we are the only ones that don't?
6. Why is it that XTrap is sucking so bad, we see very little and infrequent updates, majority of the updates are compatibility fixes and not updates to the registry, don't you think it's time to start picking up the phone and making some calls?
7. Why is it we "The Community" insist that you remove Brazil, yet nothing happens, people just keep leaving...Get on the ban wagon like a lot of other games in removing Brazil and dedicating (Hack) Servers for them.
This isn't a rage post/thread, I'm not QQing here...just want people to see real questions that have been spoken, yet never answered.
A majority of them can be answered with the fallowing:
Brazil makes up a majority of the cash flow to Z8, why on earth would they want to stop taking money from them. Even if removing them helped the game out greatly. Z8 cares not for "The Community", but rather lining pockets.
However, removing Brazil from our version still wouldn't take money away from Z8...you would be the ones hosting it in Brazil. So the money would still be there. And "The Community" here would improve greatly. Also, with less hackers around, more people would likely stay and spend a few bucks. As currently a majority of us don't want to spend money on items that downloading a quick undetected hack could destroy anyway. I mean, Pub VIPs, Chams, One Shot, Aimbot, Wall Walking...the list goes on what you can get for free. Why would I want to through down $20 or so bucks to buy armor or a weapon/crates...if I'm going to die in One Shot anyway...or have a guy inside a wall, in a box, flying through the air, speed hacking around the map, shooting me through a wall.
I wouldn't be surprised if people started to boycott CrossFire. We've lost a lot of great community leaders and players. Not due to the Hacker issues...but to issues with SubaGames and now the same thing is happening with you Z8. Your refusal to listen to "The Community" and push for changes from the Devs/SmileGate.
You get 1000+ Tickets in a day about hackers. Wild guess here on how many are Brazilian players...650, at minimum...correct? If you can't see a continuing trend here...something is wrong with you all.
I'm going to start sending in support tickets to have Z8 remove Brazil from our servers. And get the word out that others should do the same, as most of you don't bother reading threads...to busy playing "MineSweeper".
To the Community:
Start sending in support tickets. We need to let Z8 know that this has gone on for long enough. Continuous harassment from Brazilian Players, refusal to Vote Kick hackers, Spaming, threats and just plan hacking are only a few reasons why Brazil needs to be removed from NA/UK. That and if you look on a map...I don't see Brazil anywhere in NA or the UK...could someone help me with this...as I think I might be blind!!!

2)-5) This isn't cf english speakers only, its an international game, other versions ip ban us for example because we don't buy their equilvent of zp there. So no profit plus, while there we cause problems for native players, Brazilians do in fact buy zp and play the game alot, this is their game as much as it's ours.
6) Have you tried playing any other free fps's recently, if so are they better or worse?

True was a long post. I don't care that their Brazilian...I care about the facts. If you lined up every Brazilian player and started tagging them odd and even...every even player would be a hacker and 1/2 the odds would be too. Simple statistic.
Also, if the forum is English only...why is it that the game isnt English only. The game is NA/UK...I don't remember Egypt, Brazil and Turkey on the NA map or the UK map at that. I'll have to check again...damn those Tectonic Plate Shifts!!!
Brazil has been banned by lots of games. Due to this statistic...its known fact. We have seen a ten fold in traffic from day one that CA banned Brazil. I don't mind Brazilians one bit...once again. Its the majority that make them look bad...and simple facts like no laws on the books against hacking in any case.
I'm sure that if 75% of the US/CAN populations decided right now to start hacking...we would be removed from the game...but no...cash cows and lining ones pockets takes first place in any corporate race. -

This is just my theory, but it makes sense.
The automatic system detects cheater. The automatic system bans cheater for a week or two.
In that time, someone reports the player. The support staff reviewing the ticket sees that the player is already banned. No action taken.

We could if we were allowed to. Unfortunately, the developers of course wants lot of money for a licence which would allow us to put up a BR version or even a server. And of course, G4Box doesn't want to pay as much as SG asks for. Its a balance, which nobody benefits from.

Banning cheats is an ongoing process. Most are banned. A new one pops up once in a while, like the current oneshot/aimbot.
As its hard for one company (XTrap) to keep up with it, we also pitch in with the automatic system. Since this cheat is pretty new though, its yet to be added.Core2DuoOC1 wrote: »7. Not every version is total IP'd to only their specific parts. Such as China, you can still access it without an IP changer from the United States and United Kingdom.
Players that are temp banned for 7 days at first is because of the malicious software scan. If you report a hacker, and they do indeed cheat, the hack is a permanent ban.
X-Trap is a great hack prevention, unlike Game Guard. Remember though, it's the holidays for one, and hacks can be recoded quickly. If you want to see a hack gone for a bit, it will take some time to figure out how to block it for a certain amount of time, but remember, these people are humans.
G4Box is only licensed to host servers in UK/NA. The server was renamed to US South to try to attract more of the Southern Americans, but it can only do so much.
Not to mention on the servers, and the suggestion of others to let only certain IPs on, as non-staff members, we do not even know if the servers CrossFire uses are capable of this, and if not, it would require change, along with much time, effort, and money. -
Those who answer the tickets are sh1t! I wanted to refund my m16a2 which my lil bro bought on accident and sent a support ticket 1 min after it, but it has been 6 days now! And rey is still banned and they wanted him to pay money to get his acc 'unbanned' again. The support ticket team is a real joke.
Oh god pls ban the fking TR's aswel.
But if cf would be only NA/UK, me and the lower than 100 ping people wont be able to play this game and ive spent sh1tloads on this game. -
Z8Games, is a Corporation. As we all know about them it's money first, customers second.
Just look at games like Fiesta (Yes, FPS -> RPG, but it's the same thing; if that doesn't please you, try Soldier Front). Nary a word is heard from the developers, but people still buy from them. The best thing to do is ignore the ZP spending (That's why there are surveys people!), until some actual **** is done about these issues. -

DOT: you say this is an international version!!! Really, then why in the press release on G4Box'es site say that its intended for NA/UK players...I don't remember seeing Brazil on my NA MAP>>>anyone else? Your ideas a broken...give it up.
A great majority of NA/CAN/UK players have stopped playing, why...no response from Z8 or G4 on the subject. They only want money. You want someone to spend money...listen to the consumer. NA/CAN/UK players would be more then happy to play a game not filled with "Porra Porra QQQQQQQQ Clan" and other such BS from them.
The kick system is a joke and Brazilians rally together to prevent each other from getting kicked. I request that every US/CAN/UK and every other "English" speaking countries send Support Tickets in for harassment against every BR/TK and what not. Thats all they seem to know to do...harass, hack and scam.
If Brazil wants to play dirty, lets fight back dirty. Brazil has banned "Violent Games", CS being one of them. Cross Fire is a copy of CS in a lot of ways...lets all send letters to the Brazilian Gov't over the issue...we the "Players" can speak out. Sure Z8/MODs/GMs can ban us, lets play the same games Brazilians and the like do...make new accounts and keep it up.
Change is not easy, nor easily won. Lets man up and push Z8/G4/SG to do whats right. They will still get the money they want for servers in BR from what those hackers decide to spend. And more NA/UK players will come to CF.
Or I say boycott CF and continue sending in support tickets. If BRs are going to change to CF because CA banned them and gave them their own servers...lets move on to something else as well.

Really, you've heard it from the community a lot. We wish for Brazil's Banning (or Ping limited servers). Your not gamers, your not the consumer, your just people in a "Cube" pushing buttons, or having a BOT do it for you. We are the people that pay your rent, feed your families and put gas in your car. Have the common decency to do what your customers would like. If a majority of consumers decided they didn't like M&Ms, do you think they would continue to making M&Ms?...NO...they would change.

Think about this.. .six days.
So Starting tuesday. Three go by, it's Friday.
It usually takes atleast 2-3 days 3 becoming Friday, next day becoming Christmas. People travel to see family, not to mention the break from Christmas to New Years. -
G4box doesent care about us we are like the kid that every1 ignores while the other versions are getting pretty much what they want jp asked fro a ip restriction hey guess what ? THEY GOT IT u dont see bunch of laggers when u go to there servers ive even download cf cn i was the only one lagging in all the rooms i went in anyways we will never be a good version of this game because g4 just dont care and even worse we have 1 of the worse portals a game could get called z8 games with there bot answering support tickets .

I would love to see, from day one that CA banned Brazil...how many US/CAN/UK players have left to other games. Really.
And DOT...stop posting answers to questions you don't know the answer to...your not Z8/GM/CM/G4, your just a player with an opinion. I'm at least a player with the backing of 90% of the US/CAN/UK player base.
We want IP restrictions or the outright banning of Brazil. You have to take the side of Z8...its your job. Don't spat babble, however, your support would be great. Even the MODs have a voice...why not use it for something worth wild.

Why add that in...hmmm...protection of Brazilian players, I would too...if they paid my bills.
So in this Case....EVERYONE...should send in ONE, nice long Ticket, requesting IP Restrictions/ Banning of Brazilian players. We are losing a great game to a bunch of miscreants. They moved from CA because CA was smart and banned them. Don't let them take hold here...lets do what every other MMO is starting to take notice of...BANNING BRAZIL.
