Not working on linux.

Can anybody tell me why Im unable to run crossfire on Linux? (wubi ubuntu)

Keeps telling me that Im running on a VMWare (technically its true) and its not able to run on a VMWare.
Can somebody tell me of any way to bypass this and play crossfire on linux until I fix my windows 7 64-bit internet problem?
