Searching for the perfect sniper for my playing style.

As the title reads.

I´m looking for a decent sniper to use.

The AWM, DSR-1 and Dragunov seem pretty heavy to me.

I tried the PSG-1 out and it seems good, only weak spot is the single scope.
Haven´t tried the MSG-90 yet, is it ok?
What about the PSG-1 RD ?

Or should I stick with my M700?

Use AWM.

As I said earlier, Those snipers aren't aren't worth the money it takes to them.

PSG-1(Coupon -_-)
MSG90(Crate -_-)
So get the AWM.
It is a lot better.

But if you are fine with the m700, then stick with that.

Fast and accurate uh?

AWP is not fast, but heavy and more reliable.

M700 is fast, but not really reliable, the opponent needs to be weakened if you really want to kill them or hs them.

Weakening them is not a problem, executing them with a HS takes a few ms more..

Do you quick scope? Pre-scope? Do you mind staying scoped in for multiple shots? That will help in determining such questions.

I'm not downplaying the M700 at all. It is a very nice rifle if you know how to use it. You better be spot on with your shots, you won't get a chance if you miss. Most snipers in competitive play use the AWM or the DSR-1.

The AWM is slightly heavy but if you quick switch to your secondary you can move around faster before switching back to your rifle. It is pretty good all-around for the above mentioned scoping styles as its power makes up for its slight bulkiness. Definitely the best and easiest choice.

If you really can pull off the accuracy and shots with an M700, more power to you. Haha. Good Luck. I'm looking forward to seeing some of those shots

Unless all your opponents were damaged by 50% or you are an headshot machine...

Use the AWM. Reliable and accurate. Although the M700 is faster, it requires ALOT of skill from you, even more on a competitive scene.

You won't stand a chance unless you're a complete beast with it.

Umm, if you are pretty amazing with m700 (i.e. hs most of the time, while QS) then stay with it.

If you are reasonably good with it (can hit the person most of the time, but not that many hs) go with the awm. The aiming skills should be transferrable

Another technique is to shoot them once with the M700, taking out 75~ hp and finishing them with one deagle shot.

(if you miss the head, and hit the body for example)

AWM is good
DSR if you dont know how to snipe and want to spray.

Get the DSR-1 its RoF is faster than the AWM it weighs less and it has less recoil, and even though you can only zoom in once it zooms in 1.5 thats in the middle of the AWMS double zoom.

Get the AMW, it takes almost no skill to use. It's so easy a caveman can do it.
