crossfire on a windows 2000 Comp
Hi there,
I'm having a big problem. I play crossfire on a windows 2000, as of the Christmas patch I'm unable to play.
When i try to start up i get the news window, i press play the patcher loads up fine and does the patch.
After that HGWC doesn't load up, and it just does nothing.
I have the same problem on all my 3 win 2000 computers.
Is crossfire, or HGWC, still supporting win 2000 machines ?
I sure hope so because i have put allot of effort in leveling 2 accounts to butterbar ranks
and have multiple other accounts and uploaded loads of ZP on most.
I really don't want to have to install win xp or higher to be able to play this game i so love.
Installing win xp or higher on my machines would mean changing some hardware and peripherals
which in turn costs money I'd rather spend on the game.
And since I'm running a few NT4.0 servers i really don't want to have to put up with communicating to NT4.0 with a xp machine. Its really a pain in the ass pffft
Hoping for a positive answer,
I would really hate to close them after
allot chear bloody hard graft, and putting allot of love in them ...
Take care
