ok there is a mod to mode your radio messages with blank soundfiles is that allowed and if so would it be against rules to do the same to gun sounds?

Why the hell would you like your weapon noises muted? It's key for scrims & pubs...If you do find a way to do it, Please share it with us, cause then we'll be able to mod them aswell.

Radio messages can be muted in the sound settings >.> and I think gun sounds are in the rez files which is illegal to mod...I'm pretty sure

I think I read somewhere that their in the rez files (the gun sounds) ,so if you edit them your in trouble, but in all honesty idk o.o

see thats what i was unsure of i have seen a few mods to change your gun sounds so i wasnt sure if they were in a sound file and i would only wanna be able to mnute them for gm lol

as for using them i pubs i just look for the dead teamates white x lol

This is against the ToS and technically bannable, but it more or less impossible to enforce. Use at your own risk. The simple and legal solution is to disable them in the sound options.

If you were going as far as deleting or replacing gun sounds, changing wall texture or character texture would be the next step, wouldn't it?

As long as you got no advantage with your mod you can.
the gun sound is maybe illegal but the radio messages are legal for sure

k thats what i was wondering thank you vm now if only there was an option to mute gun noises and not breath/foot steps lol o well i guess they should make a sticky or somthing abvout what is modable

I watched someones youtube vid, and instead of "Fire in the hole" / "Flashbang"

It would say "MA BALL.S"

So when sum1 through a nade you here "MA BALL.S"

Like in Eygpt, MA BALL.S MA BALL.S MA BALL.S
