A warning about the Leatrix Latency Fix
I am posting this, because I saw the thread about the*Leatrix Latency Fix here, http://forum.z8games.com/showthread.php?t=115387*and I have had major problems after installing this.
After I installed it, and did the restart it told me to do, when my computer turned on it came up with a message saying "you are not using a genuine version of windows" and my desktop background was changed to just a black screen with "please activate windows" or "you are using a pirated version of windows" I don't remember what is said, my computer is off now so im not gonna look I'm posting from my phone so that's how can post without the computer. But if this makes me buy another produce key for windows, I'm gonna be really mad, cause product keys cost like $150, and my copy of windows 7 only came with one product key. So right now my computer is essintially a brick because of this. If any of you are thinking of downloading this, think twice, it might screw up your computer. It's not worth a little lower ping. And yes I read the whole page about the instructions and FAQ's.

Well when I out in the product key that was in my windows 7 box it said that it was already used. And even after I ran the uninstall thing it still comes up with this. So now I have to buy another windows 7 product key at ~$150 to get my computer back. -

But can you play? I mean, I have seen people with 100-150 ping and they were like time travelers and people with 200 and they were running normal. I don't know how this game sets those ping.
I don't play this game really. Was gonna play it today but ended up playing Counter strike for ages.

Well I called Microsoft and I explained what happened, and they verified that it was a real version, and they fixed it. But now Microsoft security essentials is saying that crossfire is malicious, and thats never come up before. Installing that was the worst thing I've done to my computer. If any of you are thinking of installing it, do yourself a favor and don't!

I've used this fix on xp, vista , and windows 7 the only one that experianced improvement was the xp system, don't bother if you have the others.
Ya they probably fixed the hole that allowed this to change whatever it changed to make your ping better. -
