Good idea. Some people (poor people) can't play because spammers lag them. Plus it would avoid me seeing all the QQs even though i wouldn't see the ns's...
By public chat you mean all excepted clan?
We should have a window in options called "chat settings" in which we could tick yes or no for "main", "clan", "team" and also moove "pm's option" there.

I got an idea i goofed around there and i realized that the chat is only a picture.... so you can remove this picture or the command line and youll be fine (DONT DO THIS)

You can do that too, but again why you wanna take the chat permanent... imagine in e-8 or other important "conversations". -

It's not a problem of "concentration", well for me it certainly isn't. I just don't enjoy having my fps constantly droping because someone decides to spam chat 24/7
