Is it too late?
Hello forum!
I´m new to this game and figured I should gather some intel on what happens and how it´s played.
Im new to the FPS genre as I never really had much time to play video games (RL can be a *beep* at times).
I prefer to hang back, sniping from cover and covering my teammates. Teamwork is the key, even if there isnt much appreciation for it
Now I have a few questions.
Firstly: I plan on making a "sniper" build, which sniper should I use (i´m a pretty good shot, like to try for HSs) and what are the pro´s and cons of the various snipers?
Secondly: How is this games community?
And last but not least, I am looking for a decent clan when I reach the required rank (mature and honest clans are best) any suggestions?

AWM for sniper.
Pros: 1hitkill on body shots. Accurate.
Cons: Heavy. Slow reload. Bolt-action.
Deagle or Anaconda for secondary.
Deagle is better, but Anaconda has class.
Community isn't so great.
Have fun, stay long.

Well first off You need to be a Staff Sergent to use an AWM sniper, which to me is the best sniper.
M700- Fast shot, 10 bullets, Headshot 1 hit kill. Not 1 hit kill to chest at 100HP
AWM- Medium fast, 5 bullets, Headshot 1 hit kill, Bodyshot 1 hit kill, feet 10-99 damage.
DSR- Fast shot, 1 scope(instead of double), 1 hit Body, 1-99 feet, 1 hit head, longer reload.
Psg-1- Semi-Automatic, 5 bullets, 1 scope, 1 hit head, sometimes 1 hit body, can lose control easily.
I am an AWM user, but at a starting rank you cannot use until Staff sergent 1 and have the right amount of money for it. Practice with an M700 until you rank and get money. Hope this helps!
Community- Not amazing, hackers/glithcers every now and then, but there are some nice people to meet.
Secondary- For a sniper get a Deagal. Fast and accurate. Anaconda is too slow. -
You said you can aim, so M700 should do. Its weak but if you can aim for the head you don't have to worry about the power.
If you can't aim for the head all the time, then go for AWM.
DSR: Heavy, can't quick scope (fails.)
MSG90: Only does little damage and its from crates. (Fail)
PSG: Meh... if you can aim this sniper is good too.
Community...... lets skip this question...
Clans... Beh I dunno, there are various clans that are all good at different stuff. -

So my secondary seems to be the Desert Eagle.
I only have the M700 at the moment and I find it to be very efficiant, large clip, lightweight only downside seems to be its power.
Could I try your AWM?
As for the Community, where should I play in order to avoid the hackers etc? -

Seriously, Alpha-7 and Echo 8 have some good players that avoid hacking.

Hmm, I could play there but my ping would probably be over 100. It is 80 on the UK server. -
Headshooting: M700 (Free)
Not-Headshooting : AWM (56.000 GP)
Spraying: PSG1-RedDragon (70 Coupons)/MSG (GP Blackmarket)
Pistols:
USP (Free)
Deagle (45.000 GP / +2 Ammo = GP Blackmarket / + 3 Ammo = 70 or 80 Coupons / +3 Ammo +Scope = ZP Blackmarket or Dog Tags [Daily Mission])

the awm and deagle are great but both are SSG rank requirements, and lets face it the m9 is terrible, the p228 and the colt are both pretty good, the colt has less than great ammo but more power than p228, and the dragunov is not very good either so keep that in mind, and i would have to say the community is like people irl, some of them are cool and some of them suk but we all get together and talk about this game

awm should be your main sniper, its one shot kill in the body, and obiously, a body shot is easyer, so just going for the body shots instead of the hs can make you half a second faster to aim, critical when sniping. as of the sniper, its mainly a weapon for taking the early kills, asap as the bomb is planted, your better off getting yourself a rifle with some exeptions. as a sniper, expect to top frag often, as its a killing machine, its just not usefull for the rest.
the dsr, some like it, i don't. im not the man to realy explain it.
as the side, lots of peps say to go for the deagle, i don't. i use the p228, its great for getting those random hs. but what it exel at is finishing the enemi when you legged him, the deagle shoot slower and both should do 20 damages in the body. the p228 is horible at long range, but u got the awm for that anyway. the deagle is still a good gun though.

alpha7. the asian chanel, their good but tend to camp a lot, armor and zp ***** it up.
clan server: horible most of the time, but from time to time you find those amazing scrims where both clans are perfectly matched against each others.
i sugjest you find yourself a freindly clan, thats where the comunity is good. as you play with/against each others and a mutual respect is nearly always there. -
Is your name from Okami? But hands down the best sniper is the AWM, the DSR-1 is a close second. Btw make sure to play on the UK server, your ping will be better which will ultimately help your gameplay. ^^

OT:AWM/Desert Eagle is a great sniper class for this game.
The community is decent....on the forums at least, if the room has over 10 players with over 200 ping then it's probably not a great one. This creature is called a "BR" it's a fickle beast.
When you get good enough I reccomend you try to play in Echo 8 since it's a pretty cool place with less ragers and h@kz0rs
Get 500 posts on the forums and join CF Forumers, pretty chill clan.
