compass help..

You mean that "Radar"thingy ? Press Delete it should bring it back /hide it

The advanced compass gives you +10% experience so you rank up a little faster. If you hover over the image of anything in the store, it will pop up the description and any attributes.
Other than that, I don't think any of that stuff does anything. It's just flash, something to make your character look different.
