CrossFire for linux

Hello everyone,

I've been trying to run crossfire on Linux through wine. Well I guess the problem is not in the actual crossfire game but in XTrap. I just would like to know if anyone knows any workarounds, or if the Z8Games could possibly do something about this.

Support Ticket Staff knows a lot more than all the forumers put together. Send a ticket and see if they have a solution to your problem ^.^

No they wont. It wont be able to run on Linux..
Only send a support ticket at a last resort.... not when one person cant give you the answer... thats why support is so slow... its full of trash tickets they have to go through.

Which version of ubuntu? I'm using the latest one (10.10), and btw, what's your wine's version? I'm running 1.3.7, the latest as well. I had to install vb runtime 2005, in order to run it.

Maybe ask Xtrap to make a linux friendly program? (unlikely)
Sony PS3 originally let you run Linux giving you the opportunity to own an nice supercomputer.
Or try installing Windows XP, vista is horrible and 7 is a bit... meh.
