Some Advice

*Sorry if this is wrong section but it seems to be for CLANS*

I want to start a clan but need to know some basic things....
I've never owned a clan but I've been a member of some.

I need to know if it's good to have an all round skill type (let noobs join)
How many Clan mods to have (1,2,3? more? O.o)
Rules I should have in place? EG: No hack.ing.
Should I only ask only english speaking players to join?
Should I set an age restriction?


fyi. I've ran gangs on mafia games, guilds on mmorpgs ect and all have been good/semi pro.

    'Guilds' are technically the same thing as a clan. It really depends what kind of clan you want to start; a Public Clan, a Scrim Clan, etc. Your rules can be simple, or customized such as no hacking, glitching, etc.

    If your going for a Scrim Clan, I recommend an age restriction as younger players tend to be 'annoying' in words, but not all of them - I've had many experiences, and they seemed to not know how to play, or/and just plain annoying.

    Rules are pretty logical (I would think), as you want to keep your clan in good standing, and mature. Age requirements are not needed, yet make sure everyone is mature. I'd strongly recommend buying a Ventrilo Server in the long run (or right away if you plan on being an avid scrim team). The language depends on what you speak, once again I'd allow people in who can speak English fluently despite being able to speak multiple languages. The number of LT's is dependent on how many members are in the clan, I'd do one LT for every 20 members.

    But I mean rules as in swearing?

    And the clan wil be for public not CW- more fun factor

    Age is a hard thing in my eyes. my little 9 year old cousin was playing on my account for the first time and he was good-ish.
