Get the TAR, it has less recoil, not as loud, faster RoF think, and its scope is better.

I like the SG552 more but it has a weird recoil and it is VERY loud. :P

Tar is just like an Aug. Sg552 is the better choice for colse range like TD. For SnD i would use the Tar because better burst and long range. If you trying to be silent in SnD Sg552 will get you killed at your first shot with it.
