need help

OK so the only way i USE to be able to play CF, was to go to my cousins house. But now I recentley recieved a free computer from my grand parents. Now i can finaly run CF any time i want! except my computer runs Oddly when playing CF. It takes a long time for CF to open and get to the log in screen, and when I play It goes rather slow and randomly stops or when i'm shooting. My computer is a Dell 2000, I don't know what moniter model this is... But its still Dell. Ive tried using Gamebooster, It helps a bit.

So?

Any suggestions?
