How To Max Out Your FPS

Any Pros out there know any really good ways of maxing out your graphics card! i try to overclock it but im too noob to do ir right or get it working idk, ive tryed closing every single background program, i try gamebooster but it seems and i hear from a few people at first its ok then it starts to use mem, idk i keep my pc clean , defrags every few days , disk cleans and all that, i play CF at lowest Graphics to get more out of my Graphics card , but i i get an avg of 20-40 in a full room , which when everybody is doing work! i get lag spikes ... im curious if theres any PC ''PRO'' out there can help me out or tell me if i got everything working good or w/e! or wat i can use or install or buy to put in to make more better!

Most common suggestion would be to increase your ram.

Don't think your PSU could handle an overclock.

hmm idk if my motherboard can do more than 2gb?

yea 2gb ram is highest this motherboard can handle , 1gb per slot (2 slots) , but idk whats the best CPU i can put in it? maybe a dual core ...but which is the highest it can handle , and most importand whats the best vid card i can use with it?

Currently the 6850 vga is best bang for bucks but you could also go with somethingh less banging as 5770 or gts450

Well the proc is fairly old, any new gen proc would do really.

Due to limitations on your motherboard , you might just want to consider purchasing a new computer in which you could include more ram, an advanced graphics card, and a faster processor. Sorry for stating a stupid response to your well though out question, but it appears you may be due for a major hardware update.

Upgrade everything? Ur running an Old POS Comp? i just had my First build and i still lag in CF No biggy bro -

Your specs are enough for this game. As I said before, while playing, if you have FPS drop, open Task Manager and see what's eating CPU. Crossfire.exe & System Idle Process are the only 2 processes that can have high values.

What im sayin is the gtx450 or hd5770 would b more then good at fairly descent price. Dependin on your budget id go for an OC (cherry picked gpu's) version by either Gainward (preferably the GS GLH version) or XFX ***

yea ik a new pc is due but if i get a new pc ill still wanna max this 1 and use it for internet and downloads only! so i can keep my new good 1 for movies n games so no viruses or no problems!
