DRK (Sponsored team)
DRK is now picking up active competitive players. We’re a newly sponsored team by the Universal Gaming Community (UGC). We’re looking for loyal members to play WOGL s3 with.
Requirements:
- First of all maturity, if we catch you acting and arguing like an immature person wherever, you’re out. We want to maintain maturity and professionality in this clan.
- Remain loyal to the clan, we do accept alternative accounts to a certain extent.
- No offensive behavior during scrims or any matches we play.
- We do require microphones and Ventrilo, seeing as that’s our main way of communication.
- You must be able to call out anything you hear and see and how much damage you did to certain enemies. This doesn’t mean you can constantly scream on Ventrilo about you disagreeing about the way you died, it happened and there’s nothing you can do about it anymore.
- Have basic to good gamesense. You do have to listen to your teammates at all times.
- You must be able to get frags in scrims and you must be able to keep and maintain your position at all costs. If you don’t like the position you play in, you can honestly tell us what position you do want to play at the map we’re playing.
- We do practice. When we get a handful of members, we’ll set up a roster and the starting five and subs will have to practice. If you think you’re going to miss a practice, please do tell us before we host the practice.
- The fact that I’m the leader will mean I will be in the starting five until I find that there is a team that is noticeably better than me in the team.
- We must be able to contact you when you’re not playing Crossfire, preferably Xfire or an e-mail you actually use.
- Your skills will be tested in scrims or inner-scrims.
- This is a serious team, no fooling around. We want to remain professional.
Before you apply, please add me (imlegitpressf12) or a lieutenant (torispelling) on Xfire or message me on the forums. You must be good, don’t be insecure about adding me on Xfire.
The fact that there's strict rules doesn't mean we can't have fun, after all, that's what this game's been made for, even though at times it doesn't seem like it. Hope you guys take this seriously and take the team for what it's worth.
Thanks,
Vermillion, leader of team DRK.

Everyone is saying they're getting sponsored now a days...
What does UGC sponsor you?
There's a system to it. We have to report certain activities and we get points for it. We can trade those points for items. It's pretty complicated. We'll tell anybody about it in detail when they join.
Also, we're setting up a European and a North American division. -
Motivation.
I find it amazingly stupid how you manage to think you can ruin a rather serious thread like this. There's no actual reason why you should be acting so immature.
If you don't want to tryout or be in this clan please get off this thread.
We dont need you to try and start a FlameWar on such a serious thread
On another note.
Thanks to everyone for the support, to everyone who said it seems "serious" it IS.
We hope to go pretty far in wogl s3. Don't be afraid to contact us. Not everyone will be accepted. But I can guarantee everyone can have a tryout. Not "1v1's". Try outs will have to be in scrims. We FIRMLY believe that GameSense > Aim. -
Do they have a CS:S team?
A bunch of members of our clan do play CSS, even though not competitively, I can't say we're bad at it. We were looking to set up a team on that earlier too, but my CS:S configs messed up due to Steam Cloud acting up and modifying my files unwillingly.
Anyways, I don't see what that has to do with anything. If we get enough good players we would be able to set up a CSS division with another leader which will lead the CSS division. -
I just wanted to know because I play CS:S competitively and I'm looking for a team.
If we had a CSS team already I'd surely count you in as a possibility. The only way of setting up a team in CSS is setting it up with a bunch of players you know. I know about two or three who would want to start a serious team and they're above average gamesense/aiming-wise. -

What does your sponsor provide for you?
It's basically providing us with items we can choose from by winning matches and reporting them every friday. The better we do, the more points we get. With those points we'll be able to buy several items. The items will be awarded to members of the clan.
We don't need a Ventrilo off them, seeing as we already have one and I was planning on buying one for the European community and one for the NA community, seeing as I have enough money to spend on that.
