Why is SNIPER more expensive to repair :/

I find it frustrating that an AWM is more expensive to repair than most guns.

If you are a sniper player ur wasting more gp repairing your weapon than a rifler and its kind of unfair.

What do you people think?

Never noticed, but I believe if you say. Maybe it breaks slower? And some snipers are quite expensive compared to other weapons.

But the AWM also has stronger hit points than a rifle so in trade off it's fair

considering that its 1 shot 1 kill most of the time it should break more often. If your getting easy kills b/c its so powerful and with less effort you should have to pay more to keep your weapon in good shape.

Think about it like this it cost more to keep and industrial nation afloat than it does for a small agricultural country or province.

I hope you weren't using a 7 day AWM. All temp guns break faster because you can only do 2000 GP worth of damage to em.

Even so, I'll test this out.

nah u dont get more money, and no its the perm awm.

I know its 1 shot kill and im a rifler myself but i would think its a bit unfair on the snipers

Only guns that have a different speed of breaking are pistols, and no I'm not including crates.

EDIT: 75% of your GP income from a match is supposed to go to repairs. I just got 100 GP from a match, my main needed 75 GP.

It's not unfair. You always get how much you need to repair the gun, plus a fixed amount that you earned.

You sir are wrong. Most guns take 2,500 GP to repair when fully broken. Others take 10,000.

You bought it for more than a standard rifle, it'll hit harder than a standard rifle, and its repair costs will be more than a standard rifle. Why snipers must pay through the nose for a sniper rifle and the obligatory sidearm I will never know, but that's just how it goes.

Although XM8 also costs a ton...

It's the same, only pistols break more slowly, 75% of the GP you get from a match goes towards repairing, the other 25% you keep. Just got 100 GP in a match, took 75 to repair my primary.
