AWM or DSR?

I have 58k gp right now and I really need a sniper. Should I just buy the AWM now or save up for the DSR? I have no other sniper rifles (other than the m700). I do have some experience with the AWM if that matters, and the DSR is as expensive as sh1t.

i go for the awm cause its good for qs and its godly in a hand of a good player dsr is good too but i never liked its recoil and its shooting style

Alot of people say that the DSR has more recoil then the AWM well thats not true, iv'e tested it and its true.

i enjoy the dsr more than the awm... it is truely a personal prefence between those two... i'd say ignore all other advice except for this... go try them out in prison ie. pick them up from dead guys and figure out what YOU like best

DSR if you hardscope, AWM if you can QS.

if u can quick scope or want to learn how to quick scope get a awm that would be ur best choice, but if ur a noob camper, dsr, cuz i have trouble quick scopin with dsr :P

I prefer the AWM over the DSR.
Although the DSR usually beats me in a sniper match. Cuz they camp and hardscope -_-
But I think AWM is more versatile

You want to be noob or a skilled sniper? for skill use awm if u want to or be nooooob using DSR but u will fail

So now the DSR-1 is a noob weapon? No, the Scar Light is noob, the M12s, is noob. The DSR-1 is a really good rifle in my opinion, it's also a really good for no scoping. Emo, just go to Prison and pick 'em up from dead people, or you can find me in a game and I'll let you try out my DSR-1. Don't listen to people on here, they all think the AWM is best because most of them have never used the DSR, or sucked with it. Try them both, and pick the one you like the most.

If ur used to dsr ull hate awm most ppl are used to awm so they like it better personaly i think its better since you can quickscope with it

I have both, I actually like the DSR more, cause the scope is like in the middle of the first and second scope of the AWM. I don't know, I just like using the DSR cause I don't see toooo many people using it XD.. It's just fun :l

DSR-1 for long range and ONLY long range hard scoping, AWM for all around awesomeness.

of course awm is the best.dsr 1 has not quick scope it is gun for noobs ,a pro doesn't play with dsr1 but with awm.awm rules

Definitely the AWP. It's amazing for any scenario. Unless you like staying scoped in with the DSR, the AWP is anybody's gun.
