New Game Feature
The game camera will now center on whoever killed you in game. The Camera focuses on your killer and a "Killer" tag is displayed above their head to easily identify them.
"Random Map" option has been added for those hosting a game room. Once you make the map and pick the mode just go to the end of the map list to see the new "Random Map" option for that mode.

New Badge System
Badges are a way to show off your achievements within the game. Complete tasks and earn Badges and additional rewards!
To see your badges click either your player profile or check the mission button. The Badges tab will be displayed, click that to see your badges.
When you complete the first goal for each of the Classes of badges you will be able to "register your main badge". The "Details" button will show you what the next set of requirements are. Once you register your badge you can display it within the game so other people can see how far along you are!
When you earn new levels of badges by completing the requirements you will earn rewards and higher level badges. The elite class badge is when you have the same level of badge for all classes.
New kill marks are now in the game. They will be awarded whenyou reach certain levels of badges. When you reach the highest level you can earn yourself a Spray that will depict the class you reached the highest level of. Among other prizes.
Some things to note about the new badge system:
Rewards are given for various levels of badges. The rewards can vary from items to GP to permanent special edition sprays and name cards.
Badge Goals are independent on each tier. Once you get the next grade badge you have to get all the requirements listed.
Badge rewards are only earned on weapons YOU have. If you pick up a weapon in a game from someone else (this includes elimination mode) you will not get the requirements.
The game must end properly in order to get your results. Leaving a game in the middle will result in missed stats.
Badges also need a minimum of 6 players in the game in order for the stats to count towards Badge goals.

Buddy System Improved!
Cross Fire now has a more stable buddy system with new additional features!
Locate and join your friends game lobby's and servers with the click of a mouse button!
View your friends player profiles!
Get information when your friends have come online.
To make use of these features right click on the players name in the friend tab of your game client.
"Open Soldier Profile" will show you the kills and deaths and matches of your friends player profile.
"Play Together" will automatically move your player to your friends server and/or game lobby (if there is room). This also includes the clan server.
"Invite" will send a message to your friend allowing them to join your game.
*Please note* that these features will not allow you to join passworded games. You still need the password to join private games.
The current login/out notice for your friends is awkward. This is a small text error which will be fixed asap.

This update mostly focuses on bringing more GP content to the game with the addition of new maps, weapons, and GP Crates. Please report any problems in the Technical Support forum.
With this update we have added 3 new GP only crates to the Black Market Crates system and also 2 new SP crates with even more great stuff to get. Some of the top prizes you can win are listed in the patch notes and all SP crates still have a chance to win 1,000,000 GP! You will also win coupons even in GP crates that can later be exchanged for great weapons so good luck to all.

Escape Mode Added!
Temple Ruins Escape Mode map added
Command Ops Escape Mode map added
Escape Mode is an attack-defend style map. Black List must move towards the teleporter and Global Risk must defend it. Points are awarded for 'escapes' (reaching the teleporter) as well as kills.
If Black List reaches the winning score the teams switch sides. If Global Risk successfully defends against Black List they will switch sides with a point advantage.
There are destructible objects on the paths in these maps and if you 'escape' your spawn point will be moved forward to a more advantageous point. If Black List can not 'escape' in any 2 minute period, Global Risk soldier positions will be exposed on the map.

Character Item Changes:
Character specific items have been removed from the in game shop in favor of a system that only requires the player to purchase one type of item for all classes.
Items previously bought will remain until they expire.
New headgear/goggles/backpacks are available from the in game shop.
This change will allow us to introduce items for all character models rather than create specific ones for each character.
Mission Mode System:
Missions will be displayed via the Mission button in the game lobby screen. (M)
Any One of the 3 missions displayed can be completed daily for rewards like GP and items/weapons
Complete 1 mission per day in consecutive days 5-10-15-20 and receive additional prizes
Each time a mission is completed a player will also be awarded a 'Dog Tag'.
Collect the word CROSS FIRE to receive additional Prizes
Prizes will be set every 30 days.
Mission progress can be tracked via the Mission button in the game lobby.

Lol! Then how did they add the K-2 in march? Or the Scar Light in June? There were patches when Suba Games had rights to the game. That's the reason you can't find the patch notes.the first crossfire patch came out at 2009, before this, it was just a game without new contents... -

Z8Games wasn't the first licensed distributor for Crossfire. SubaGames was, which was the website that Crossfire used to "belong" to.
That was the website that used to distibute the game, and the patches. I hate repeating myself. =.=
Before September, or whenever the game was traded to Z8, the patch notes were in the SubaGames forums. You won't find the patch notes, because they no longer exist. -
The patches since G4 are the patches since Open Beta.sure... i'll search more patches... maybe the patch that m16 came out for us...

New Crossfire Item Shop!

We are proud to announce the opening of the Cross Fire Item Shop http://mall.subagames.com/. The shop will use “Suba Points
” as its currency, which can be purchased here: http://www.subagames.com/myaccount_dep2.aspx
In the shop, you will be able to buy new items to increase your EXP gains, new clothing and equipment items, GP to be spent in game, clan upgrades, name changes, and more. We will be adding many more items over time so please check back for updates often.
In the future, expect the shop’s design to change in order to increase usability. The design as it is now is just a temporary look. Also remember, that after purchasing an item you must go into the “My Items” section of the store and click on the “Use” button in order to use the item or activate its effects.
Some Items though such as EXP Plus and the GP + Items ones are instant use and will be in game, not in “My Items”.
Small note, some of the temporary items once you get them in look in game the days left might be off, this is only an issue with the in game text and will be fixed soon. The item will still last you the real amount of time you have left on it even if it says less or more then that.
