[SOS=NO-SOUND]CrossFire and RealTek HD Audio
The Game Runs Perfectly Even In The High Quality Mode; But There Is No Sound, The Game Is Silent, In Spite of Replacing The Windows (XP SP2); Also I Installed The Latest Update For The Sound Card, Type: RealTek Hi-Definition Audio Drive.
all sound options are switched ON in the game options and in the windows options
I've read every thread at Google but I couldn't find a solution
-Sound Card Type: RealTek HD Audio
-Windows: XP SP2, I Installed the SP3 from Microsoft.com
-Installed the latest Hardware Update: WDM_R254.exe
-Installed RealTek Audio Codec
-I Have this MotherBoard:
Asus P5KPL-AM/PS motherboard
that's the one: http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=y014Wy067iZxxPeP

Sound problem to me is a bit minimum.. If you do have sound on crossfire when you start and it just drops out... Mute your computer and unmute it. I did this a handful of times and I get my sound back by doing so... Of course my laptop is a media type laptop so i have a toolbar on the laptop itself that allows me to do such in the middle of the game.

I have been playing around with some 3D software, i have found that surround sound does not work in this game.. [For Me] All audio and video files play fine, But not sound for CF. Could be that you are trying to play game in 5.1 or 7.1 sound??? Try this..
1. Open Control Panel.
2. Click on Realtek HD Audio Manager icon.
3. Click Device advanced settings in upper right corner.
4. Check (dot) Mute the rear output device, when a front headphone is plugged in.
5. Click Ok.
You should now get a pop-up when you plug in your headphone. Just select headphone and click ok. You should now hear sound only through your headphone when you plug it in.
Dont know if this will help ya. If not try and cut off surround sound? -
Yeah sometimes idky crossfire glitches the sound. What I normally do is that I have a toolbar on my laptop that allows me to mute and un-mute the sound. So when I notice that crossfire's sound is bug. I just mute and un-mute my sound a whala, I can hear again.

I Got Only Sound And audio Devices.cpl
I got a Ghost Image (*.GHO) that installs all definitions, software, update, la bla bla bla blaI have the same audio hardware... I wouldn't bother installing the drivers, they're annoying (unless you absolutely have to with that version of Windows)
aah ok it is working but problem solved scroll down this page to see howMy point there was to make sure you hardware was working ??
Media Buttons doesn't help at all as it provides Hotkeys/shortcuts only, not related to Audio channels problem which i hadYeah sometimes idky crossfire glitches the sound. Problem solved for me
I bought a brand new External sound card:
*****Creative Sound Blaster Live 5.1*****
--- Cost: $ 5 / 25 L.E. ---
awesome and everything works
Of course i got some conflict, but i solved it by disabling the built-in Rltk-HD Device In Device Manager
Finally I say thank you to everyone
