I'm baffled.

I visited the deposit page and put down my info. I saw that it did not have the secure "https" next to the www.
I'm not sure how safe it is anymore...

PayPal is https for me. Not sure what payment options you are using, however it does state that you purchase items at your own risk, right within the Terms of Use.

I think he was reffering to using the credit card deposit feature and complaining that it is not being protected by SSL.

I believe it is required by law that credit card information being transmitted on-line must be protected using a SSL certificate.
