Well there you go, you don't like rap nor hiphop etc. more than rock or metal etc.
You can't define what's decent music and what's not, people have different tastes.
Time era does matter, hiphop, rap etc. is being played on radio etc....while rock etc. is not.
Rock and metal have had there time era. But that doesn't mean there is no rock or metal out there does it? No its just means it doesn't get radio play like hiphop.
And that's fine that you don't like that. But rock will be back one day playing on the radio. And hiphop won't be.
It is still outragious and inhumane that majority of artists today use cheap materials to creat fake music just for more cash even though they're overflowing with money, in most of mainstream.
They are obesed with cash while 2/3 of the world is in poverty. -

FOR INSTANCE THERE ARE ALOT OF TALENTED RAPPERS OUT THERE(underground) BUT THEY DON'T GET RADIO PLAY LIKE OTHER RAPPERS. KID CUDI HE IS A GREAT RAPPER BUT HE DOESN'T GET RADIO PLAY LIKE LIL-WAYNE.

You are all missing the point. In all the history of music, the sound that is current, being there and then is going to be played to death. Later (as in 20-30 years on) The cream of that decades genre will be remembered because that was the best of that time.And then you can reminisce and tell yourself that "this was the best of times." Actually I can find some true talent in todays world. it is a shame it wont be in the NME or HMV:(

No no... the greed for money within the most mucisians and music producers are another thing I hate about Modern Musical Era. Majority of the mucisians are mainstream Rap/Hiphop/Pop (a small pocket of Rock is least decent).
That's what I meant to say.

What makes this worse is that there are very good and talented bands out there but no one knows who they are or don't even bother to listen to them because the band/artist is not popular.
You gotta use your own ears and follow your heart. -
