the chances of winning a weapon is not 3 in 7
the chances of getting it if it is placed in one of the capsules is 3 in 7
therefor u cant see a weapon 20 times without winning once

I thought of this a very long time ago. I came to the conclusion that some items like GP and sprays can appear multiple times, so if there's 4 guns in all this mess and 20 capsules that all have sprays or GP that just lowered your chances of getting the guns. :S -
Spot on, the amount of zp crates i bought not just xmas but very rarely win permanent guns does not add up with the odds of winning, anyone who has a basic understanding of maths could figure that !... so are we being completly ripped off , no cos ppl do win but z8 ( smilegate ) can not tell us its completly as random and fair as they make out, at the end of the day they make there money from ppl buying zp, all we ask as paying customers is a fair chance off winning..!
Look at it this way... Everything in the description of the crate is in a capsule.... well think of it this way. There may be 1 of each gun in there but 10 of each of the other items... What are your odds now? exactly not very good. -

so what does this tell u when u see a weapon in one of these capsules?
its a 3in 7 chance to get it and a 4 in 7 chance that it is outside of ur spots -
but dont u find it weird that the new weapons inside the crates are always outside of our 3 items we get

Theyre there to give people an insentive to buy more. It doesnt mean you nearly won it. There 3 items you do win are what truely come up in the random selection.
Its not unrealistic at all... the best real world example I can think of is carnivals (or the likes)

Because some obviously have a higher chance of winning.
Youre more likely to win a Desert Eagle than you are to winning the AWM.
Personally I prefer a shot at all 4 guns at once rather than having to buy 4 different crates for the same chaces. Even if they were in different crates, the chances of winning that weapon wouldnt be any different. -

No it doesnt. Most companies (involving a level of gambling) do this. It doesnt make them greedy at all. Thats just your perception of it -
ITT: People that think everything displayed in the capsule prises have an equal chance at showing up. Think of the black market like a slot machine. The lower payouts have a higher chance of showing up while the jackpot (777, or a perm gun in this case) barely ever shows up at all. Sure you might get one 7 (you might see a perm gun), but getting all 3 to win isn't likely.

Theyre randomly generated images of the items in the crates as far as I know. So yes, I find it ok... youre just angry because you didnt win. I spent all my ZP on crates yesterday, didnt win anything and im not here making a conspiracy thread about Z8.
Most other games will do the same thing with their versions of the Black Market. ZP is their only source of income. They need players to buy it so they can stay in business. -

these crates give the impression that it is really easy to win the weapons because they show up so many times
in other crates the main prizes dont show off every 5. crate but maybe only every 50. weird isnt it? -

u dont find it misleading i understand but thats because u know the technical stuff behind the bm

Becasue theyre limited edition. They want you to buy as many as possible before they dissapoear for another year.
You can sit here and argue with me about the morality of such a thing, but everyone uses this simple marketing strategy. Youre just mad you didnt win.

i bought 45 of these crates and saw 10 weapons without getting them
this cant be unlucky because the percentage would be 0.36percent
(4/7^10)

my friend also saw weapons 5 times without getting it(onlz talking about the cristmas amazing crates)
u guys should really think about it

z8 games puts the pictures of the weapons there so that u thought it was really close and that u were just unlucky but the next time u will get one weapon

Learn to program and you'll realize how the crates are.
Nothing can be completely random, especially in computers. It's all percentages.
And if it was literally RANDOM with everything in the same percentage of winning, how would Z8 make ANY money?
1 gun, 9 other items. 10% chance to win a gun. See how easy that would be?
The guns in the crates have a lower percentage of being recieved. Let me make it out for you.
