Disconnected due to incorrect map info - Still NOT Fixed!

"Disconnected due to incorrect map info... Disconnected from server"

The message above has appeared to me countless times and seems to have no solution. I have already tried everything on this site, contacted 8 different moderators + GM Saiden, looked at all the threads/posts/guides, tried everything, and still aren't able to play for more than 10 minutes at a time without this horrendous and incompetent error message appearing. Due to this erroneous error, I am only able to play crossfire for around the minute-10 minute range before being shut off the entire game. Looks like it may be time to throw in the towel on crossfire ...permanently perhaps? Anyone have any real solutions to this problem?

1. I have a router - it has been configured to avoid this error.
2. I have Norton Antivirus - it has been configured to avoid this error.
3. I have done clean boots, shut down all unnecessary services/programs except crossfire.
4. I curse the scum of the Earth who caused this error to appear in the game in the first place. I could play this game just fine a year ago.
