Strafing

COUNTER: Aim in the middle, and 1 tap. Dead. There is no point to strafing to avoid bullets. Hopping around does a better job of that, mind you it isn't very practical.left and right. confuse them. don't let them know which way your going -

Experiment in a pub. You will see when tapping shortly right, left, right etc. Your crosshairs won't grow larger. Meaning your accuracy is that of when you stand. Good for throwing your enemies aim off and keeping your fingers warm. You'll get used to it after a while.

I think it depends on the gun, I know in theory what I need to do (i actually admit my strafing sucks, i really need to play this game more over the Xmas break.). With my beautiful AK, its a lot better to take small strafes. This is long range. Doesnt matter which order. Left - Left - Right - Left -Right - Right. Just take small steps and try get the timing perfect so you can get off maybe 3 taps in between the strafes, when the crosshair is smallest. At mid range I just strafe like crazy and spray.
With M4 i take much bigger strafes, as the spread isnt as big and the recoil isnt as big on the m4 enabling me to get off more shots whilst being more difficult to hit with the lower recoil and less spread combined with the long strafe. This just works for me, all personal preference.
