What MOST people fail to realize is that this portion of the Cross Fire population (competitive, forum community) is in fact a small percentage of the total Cross Fire population. We do not represent the majority in this game, no matter how you look at it. Yes, some of you may not be happy with the items/weapons that come with the patches, but the overall population of Cross Fire does. Numbers do not lie and that's what they say.
This game would not be free, if their intention was to be totally competitive. The items that you complain about keep this game alive, so I wouldn't be so ungrateful. This game was NOT created just for the small portion we call the competitive community. Get used to it. Deal with it. We have to make do with what he have and that's the best we can do. Still don't like it? I guess you'll have to find another game. -

Where did I say that? You are indeed incorrect. I was addressing parts of the CF community as a whole, not a particular group. The entire CF population outside of this forum is not just one nationality. -
Understood; sorry for making generalizations. And I understand that you, as a company, have to cater to the interests of the general CF population, or those who don't frequent the forums. However, my concern is that I'm not sure that the general population is satisfied, either. If you have factual information that shows that money is being put into this new content, then all disputes be settled; facts don't lie. However, if the new content sells at a steady to low rate, then I wonder if those who express their discontent on the forums may in fact be in consensus with your average CF player.

I personally do not have the numbers, but take a look at the way the patch content comes through. If things were not working, they would clearly change their way of delivering content with something different. If they keep putting in content like they do, then it's obviously selling to their standards. When you see the content drastically change from what it is now (re-skins, holiday specific weapons, hats, etc), that's when you can infer that maybe sales aren't going the way they want. Until then, I think it's safe to say the general population is quite satisfied with the content.

Beause every other game out there gets a patch every month. It's only right CF does as well. And since we are LUCKY enough to get a patch, why can't we get things that people actually use or that will contribute to a competitive community?
Why doesn't SmileGate stop being selfish about themselves (ZP Weapons, ZP crates, ZP holiday items), and give the community something they can enjoy and use over and over again and not have it be gone the next month?

No, they dont. Take a look at the Chinese version for example. They update less regularly than we do.
Not entirely sure about Combat Arms, but when they patch, its all stuff costing money. ALL of it. At least we get GP items often... and no explosives...Because the rest of the total community is horrible. I enjoy not getting kicked every game, or going against 200-300 pingers.
Again.... Crossfire isnt a S+D game. We have to cater to EVERYONE. Search and Destroy players are by far the most catered to players on this game.

That's true; anyone that watches Black Market wins will still see the occasional Pumpkin Head, Witches' Hat, AK-Halloween, or Kriss-Halloween win. And I still see people running around with their Halloween items on. In short, people do seem to take the holiday content well, and that's all that matters. Very true. Their latest patch was for Halloween, I believe. At least, that's what all their banners lead me to believe (I can't read Chinese, though). -
Guys, stop complaining. Personally, I see patches just as a bonus. I don't even have all of the GP guns I want yet, so really, there isn't even a need to add more guns--yet they do, so just be grateful.
And yes, all of the items will probably be ZP, but so what? Surveys are easy...at least, if you're smarter than the people who make them. -

Ugh... It's like, when I can be bothered to do surveys, then I can easily earn 10k+ in a day. But they're just time-consuming, between completing a bunch of them, waiting for a few of them to validate, and then waiting a bit longer to receive your ZP. Personally, I can't wait to buy/receive some ZP for Christmas that I don't have to work for. :rolleyes: -

Of course they are. Anyone is entitled to their opinion as long as it is in a mature and civilized manner. What we don't take kindly to is when people criticize SmileGate for releasing specific content that they don't personally like, calling it a "fail patch" or "same old stuff patch". That's just ignorant. Just because YOU don't like it, doesn't mean that someone else doesn't enjoy it.
SmileGate has to cater to the ENTIRE spectrum of players. This game is not meant specifically for the competitive community and it's quite astonishing that so many people think that way. -

Sure i don't like the new AK and deagle but hey if its here we have to welcome it for the sake of the game.
And yes we aren't the biggest but look what happened during the American revolution they were outnumbered but we somewhat have an advantage like them
and honestly not to be racist or to criticize but im pretty sure if you didn't understand a language begging for something you wouldn't have time to listen with everyone else -

To me the ak looks like they took the christmas mint (york peppermint pattie) wrapper and implemented it on the ak

Seriosly? And I like the Halloween ak skin, but Im too afraid to try and get it once Ive gotten the kriss hallo... Im not enjoying the 2 guns for a crate thing... Its frustrating for those that have won because you might get the same gun... Again...
Im not enjoying the reskins every time... I would be fine with a 1 different quality material map, gun, item, etc rather than the 3 or 4 i sat in the office watching youtube vids stuff... Whats the incentive to spend money, if the only thing you can spend your money on is things that are quite unsatisfactory? -

so what? i wouldn't mind if they didn't have any patches at all. i'm sure there are many guns in the item shop you'd like to have without them having to add more guns.
