Its a FREE game why would anyone expect anything? (no offense to the game or its content.) -
It's a FREE game. You get what u pay for. If you payed to play then maybe just maybe would it be ok to complain
Most of the things they add in X-Mas or seasonal patches is always ZP.
You have to pay to get ZP.

And @ giggletron, what would be wrong with getting de_dust2 for christmas? It'll be a nice present. -

There is no where stated that SmileGate HAS to patch as often as they do. It's a Holiday patch, you are going to get Holiday related items and weapons. Just because YOU don't like what is coming out, doesn't mean everyone else hates it. A little less selfishness please? -

holiday reskins.............. i hope they dont patch the game on the last second like they did with thanksgiving. plus the whole patch details havent been released yet so all hopes havent died, but knowing z8/devs, the hopes were never really that high.

Beause every other game out there gets a patch every month. It's only right CF does as well. And since we are LUCKY enough to get a patch, why can't we get things that people actually use or that will contribute to a competitive community?
Why doesn't SmileGate stop being selfish about themselves (ZP Weapons, ZP crates, ZP holiday items), and give the community something they can enjoy and use over and over again and not have it be gone the next month?
Tell me the last time we got a WOGL-Approved map. -

Why is it always about the competitive community? This game wasn't made JUST for you. Just because the competitive community doesn't use them, which is in fact VERY small compared to the total community, it's a bad thing? Again, learn to see the bigger picture. It's not just about you. -

Because the rest of the total community is horrible. I enjoy not getting kicked every game, or going against 200-300 pingers. -

I never do understand why the mods accuse us of being ungrateful or that we don't even need to get a patch at all. Uh, isn't the point of running a successful MMO to please your customer base? Don't get me wrong, I could care less about the last few patches (hell, we got a +5 Kriss for Halloween); all I'm saying is that I see where others are coming from when they are a bit ticked that all we seem to get are ZP character items which, IMHO, make you look a bit thick, and re-skinned holiday-themed versions of guns that most people already have. -

Numbers are numbers. It's simple business. Learn to deal with it. Be happy with what you get or don't be. There are plenty of games out there that you can play instead. -
Guys you have to realize something
Sometimes its not all about you
as The Mods say they don't have to patch
were lucky we even get patches
there are some versions of some games that don't even get patched
like the North Korean Version of Cf that almost no one knows about
and now you know why no one knows it no patches
Be thankful for what we have/ are getting
