Question About Support And IP, Chargeback, Hacker ETC. HELP PLEASE!!!!!

Ok, let's say that you just got your account back from support, and now you want to secure it, the hacker got your IP Address, so what can you do now, private info all changed, all the hacker has is the IP, and the account creation date, so HYPOTHETICALLY what can i do?

And Also Hypothetically the hacker bought zp on your account and spend it all, then does a chargeback when the original owner gets it back, what can the ORIGINAL owner do ? and will the account get penalize?

Answer this for my friend of course.

  • If he does chargeback you have to pay it back and it will be blocked for the duration of that time.

How can he get your IP?

He need's more information than just the creation date to get the account back off you.

Lol. What have you that idea?
  • At that point, it's likely the only thing that can be used to recover the account would be previous transaction IDs from ZP purchases. When a chargeback occurs, the account in question is banned until the chargeback is resolved.

um, ok. 1st of all idc if you believe me or not I COULD CARE LESS
2nd. im asking a question, and isn't it pointless for me to do so if im the hacker in this case? (assumed by you) regardless the support will be behind the ORIGINAL owner 100% and this THREAD WOULD BE USELESS and i WOULD BE WASTING MY TIME.

if a chargeback FAILS, due to the zp's that's already been spended, will the account be release from the charge back?
Considering the fact that the hacker fraudulantly requested his money back while he spended his virtual goods.

    As I stated here:

u will have to pay the chargeback plus 10$ penality, u can "mail" the money for them or buy a UGC and send them the code! i have a banned account for chageback too, its so fcking annoying

And people need to realize when there is sarcasm involved.

And dont give me the bs that you cant tell sarcasm online because you can.
  • Some scenarios to consider.

First off, accounts do not get Hacked.

The only way an account would get Hacked is if there was a virus or a keylogger on the computer usually transmitted by downloading and executing hack programs yourself.

Account information becomes compromised because the player is not secure enough with it.

You didn't bother to remember the email and/or security details and password etc.

You gave it out willingly to a friend, family member or stranger. Also something you shouldn't do. On a side note, I don't know why you would do this either.

You lost it due to a phishing site or scam because you believed that you could get free ZP from somewhere other than our website. You can only get ZP through official payment methods, or the gifting system via prepaid cards from other players. No other site, or player can give you free ZP.

Lastly, if for some reason ZP gets on to your account that for some reason you didn't pay for (unless you were aware of a prepaid card gift) DO NOT USE THE POINTS. If you use the points and something happens to the rouge payment then you will be in the negative points. All Charged-Back payments immediately receive a permanent block until the issue can be resolved. When it gets to this point there may be nothing more we can do, and you will need to pay extra money to resolve the banking issue that was originally there.

Now for lost accounts due to the above situations, it is 100% the users fault for losing the account. First off, there may be nothing we can do about the situation.

If there IS something we can do the player must submit a support ticket with any and all information required to get the account back. We require two pieces of verifiable information we can use to prove the account is yours. The more information you give, the easier it is for us to get your information back.

If an account continues to have its information stolen or lost continually over a period of time then we will either close the account or leave it untouched and tell you there is nothing more we can do about it.

ZP Transaction ID's are the best way to get an account back, however Security Question Answer, registered email etc. The IP of a computer is used only in secondary or deeper investigations. Because IP's can be spoofed or proxy'ed they are not used 100% of the time.

Hopefully this explains more information. Essentially, no one on these forums can help you and your friend must send us a support ticket.
