Can someone actually answer me this time?!?!

Tell me what's wrong.
I've re-downloaded, stopped processes, ran as admin, ran in compatibility mode, tried a different download, de-fragged, ran game booster I'VE DONE EVERYTHING!
I sent a support ticket and I get a stupid "Visit the common solutions thread".
I've seen multiple people with this problem and not one answer!
This is been going on for almost two weeks and I did not get to play during sniper week, therefore not winning anything and I can't get my ribbon!

I don't know what FakeGuard is but I stopped it and it did nothing.
BUT IT WAS MY PCTOOLS ANTIVIRUS!!!!! I HAD TO COMPLETELY DISABLE IT FROM THE TASK MANAGER!!!!!! It never gave me a problem before.... I tried disabling it from the application it-self and it didn't work!
THANKS GIGGLETRON!!!! -
Well I saw something that didnt look right. over 25k of memory for internet explorer? You can't run real background programs while playing crossfire. You have to close them all (with the exception of game booster). If you are still lagging, maybe a bug or some registry error is in your computer which then you would have to scan for.
Although risky, you could disable your anti-virus while playing and see if that helps. Of course you run the risk of getting a virus but when you get off crossfire, you could reactiviate your anti hack program and do a scan over night. -
You're welcome.I don't know what FakeGuard is but I stopped it and it did nothing.

Ill look this up and add the relevent guide to stop the same thing happening to othersAlthough risky, you could disable your anti-virus while playing and see if that helps. Its not risky at all when youre simply play a game. You are not downloading things or visiting dodgy websites.
Its only risky if your PC is under attack which is incredibly unlikely. -
I figure as much but you always want to say there's a risk when turning off your anti-virus. My dad had a new computer and without even visiting "dodgy websites" he got pelted with 20 different viruses because his anti-virus wasn't set up.
Not trying to scare people but you always should make sure that your computer isn't infected. Which is why I would recommend scanning before and after playing crossfire if you're gonna shut down the anti-virus. -
Simply....
(1)Perform a clean boot of the game: Start>>> Run >>> msconfig >>> remove all the unnecessary programs (programs not related to microsoft).
(2) Choose to start the computer with the above configurations to msconfig in msconfig.
(3) Deduce which program is causing the problem, by means of elimination.
(4) Configure router/Add Anti-virus exceptions/ports.
(5) Get a new free online game - this one sucks ass, and so does the administration/technical support team.
(6) Enjoy.
