A real recrutement thread

Whatever i spit out in words right now, is tongue and cheek, no fake sh1t.

When a respectable clan is created, you can take different directions:
1. You start well, lose a scrim against a decent clan and fold.
2. You start well, but some guy takes half your members and leaves
or 3. You start well, and you bring up members who put in top-noch effort. People who go the extra mile to show how dedicated they are to the clan theyre in.

In #Converse. every player is like that. Constantly asking me for training, constantly working in their own time to improve theyre game. Players who stick to theyre sh1t, even in bad days. Tongue and cheek, skin and bone is all you see, yeah we have the odd arguement, but its not the kind of arguement where people want to look hard over the internet, its the kind of arguement where players get it out of their system, and then move on.

2 months so far, and theres no sign of weaknesses. Yeah weve had a bumpy ride along the way, losing to clans we really should of beat. However all of the sticks and stones that have been thrown at us just huddle us together and make us twice as strong. What i'm here to say is that I want to add to the list of respectable players here, people who stick with us for the years to come. Ive made a vow never to shut this clan, and theres players that will stick by me through thick and thin without a doubt.

What am I looking for? Heres a list.

1. Effort and going the extra mile (show me you want to be here)
2. Aim
3. Gamesense
4. Vent/Working decent mic
5. Can make training times
6. Doesnt bait
7. Listens and can take constructive critism

By constructive critisism, i mean ''Take your time after this game and ill show you our stratergies, or ''Save the replay of the scrim, and well find out where you can improve your game.'' As appose to ''(lots of swearing and noob calling)'' I need this to work, it will work, but how well? It all depends on you, i can run the clan; but its how much effort YOU put in as a player that makes a clan work.

We have a team of players who play like a team, and everyday I see improvements, every single day I see a player purposely trying new things to improve their personal game. Also, aswell as decent players, you have to have a dedicated leader. I stepped up to this game, and its worked like clockwork so far. I take the time out to try new stratergies, and talk to Swizzai at some point, I took the time to teach him basic things for 3 - 4 hours in a day. Your safe knowing that the effort you put in will be rewarded.

We will be doing ESL next ladder, and tornaments once I discover every single players strengths and weaknesses. We do use ventrilo, and we do use it responsibly. We have good relations with most clans, as players come from all different clans. We dont hold grudges against other clans, we are here to be here and thats it.

Most importantly, you can feel safe knowing that when you log on, you will enjoy your time playing Crossfire, you wont feel out of place, or lower than anyone else in the clan. A clan is built not only on skill but friendship aswell.

The try-outs consist over a weeks period, and i'm looking for everything ive said, not if we plant the bomb at A site, then you rush somewhere and get a 3k; i couldnt care less. We have been brought up strong, and kicking. We wont close, i feel safe saying this and thats good.
