Friggin' Router.

So my Internet's been acting up something terrible lately, thus making Internet use hard and gameplay next to impossible. My dad thinks it's our router, and I think he may be right: it's a 3-year-old Dlink running Draft N. All I want to know is if anyone else out there has an old/Draft N router, and if you have issues with it. And any possible solutions would be nice, as well.

What router is it, that would help alot. Like is it a DIR 615 ? There are some things you can do to help gaming. Port foward, set DMZ, ect... Depends on the router. Just to say its a old/draft n router. doesnt say alot. Dlink made many many routers......

I get that; I didn't realize optimization depended upon the model. Anyway, my Internet's fine for now, so I'm not gonna worry about it.

Restart modem/router

Could be bad settings on their. And then open the ports for CF

Dude if you just put the model # of the router, I can help ya... Like I said there are so many Dlink routers. Not all of them have the same settings. Its not hard at all to look at the router and find the model #.... Dont ask for help if ya really dont want any ???
