wiki leaks guy

No top secret classified material has been published on Wikileaks (according to them anyways), nor has it been shut down.MwakMunzta wrote: »no you're wrong..
i wanted that site shut down anyways, posting top secret to a place where anyone can view it is just wrong
The highest classification on there is secret, but the standard confidential is the most common.
We're paying for it, we should get to know what happens.
I don't expect Wikileaks to live long in its current form though, Openleaks have a more political approach to it which will attract 'better' whistle blowers. Assagne handled Wikileaks all wrong which got it all this attention.
As for the r4pe charges, its a harsh name for what he did. Allegedly of course, the act itself was removing/intentionally breaking condoms while doing two chicks. -

OMG. Dot just made a post that wasn't completely full of crap.
Imma go outside and wait for the apocalypse now.
Make sure you don't argue with him too much about it, if he disagrees you get an infraction. -

shush troll. America is a "free" country. And our government does some downright DIRTY things. The fact they hide it from us is WRONG. The fact a random person got sent documents and put them online is no reason to make false raep allegations.
WHAT country are you from?
The 2 women who "made" these allegations. Happen to be the same 2 women who worked with a CIA funded anti-Castro group. And shortly disappeared for a long while. Now all the sudden these same two women come out against the guy letting the documents that make the US look worse.... Sounds legit homie...
BTW their "raep" was him not wearing a condom/breaking ... read up before you sound even stupider.

Keep in mind that Paypal allows you to donate to the Ku Klux Klan, but not Wikileaks.
Is that a company you really want to support with your business?
Google checkout is a good alternative if you're not a sellout.
And why does the forum block out their initials, but not the full name? -
I agree, like the US Helicopter story http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rXPrfnU3G0&feature=player_embedded#at=349 (4:33)(7:50) (10:06)(16:20) I guess, i kinda agree after watching that. but keep in mind that USA isn't the only one..shush troll. they are also sharing other countries info -
As previously stated, Asange was actually arrested over an obscure law related to having intercourse without a condom. Rape was simply a rumor spread to damage his public image. Wikileaks itself has not done anything illegal, and all information it publishes is acquired legally. Additionally, Julian Asange is not an American citizen, and is not bound by US law.
The DDoSes against various sites were entirely the work of /b/. Asange isn't stupid, he wouldn't try something like that. -
If I may interject something, rape is actually the charges, the DA think removing the condom/not putting a new one on constitutes rape.[MOD]D34d3y3 wrote: »As previously stated, Asange was actually arrested over an obscure law related to having intercourse without a condom. Guess it gets nasty when bodies touch. -
^^^ yes, its being used to bring him in. SURPRISING thats its Sweden doing this, and Interpol put out the warrant.
And yes. Hush Hush from other countries than the USA.
Hes letting everybodies dirty laundry hang out to dry. I dont see a problem with it though.
We make sex offenders go through registries where you can put your address in and it gives youthe names addresses and offence of every sex offender for 50 miles or so.
Depending on counties/states you can do searches for peoples names in court records/HoC files.
We do things like this to ourselves.
He just wants EVERYBODY to be on the same page. -
I think the whole media hype surrounding Assange's arrest, and as far as the reasons generally given, is pretty fishy. It is way too convenient to have him arrested for sudden charges from people who were implicated with CIA once (if I recall right).
I sometimes question the methods and the motives of Assange but he helps us have a more clear outlook about what's going on in the world. Proof you can't rely on Fox News, CNN or the BBC to give you the real picture. Everything is so censored and biased.
The truth is within our grasp, someone did his homeworks. -

When world leaders are keeping secrets it becomes a different and bigger matter, especially when it comes to secrets involving the general public.
My secrets however do not affect the well being of a country where as theirs do. -

We do not, as a nation, invest in you in a proper way, thus your secrets are on a personal level. The same can't be said about our own governments and tax dollars spent on them. We deserve some transparency and so far the only way we're getting some is with some aussie going against the current.
Who knows, if he dies he might even become a modern era martyr? -

Just as well he did uncover it. All politicians lie. -

I understand your views, but the political agenda is often not the politician's fault truly, but the ones pulling the strings in behind..
I do not hate the puppets, I hate the puppeteers.
We aren't even close to know the real truth about our world, but steps are being made.
Do your own research, you'd be surprised... So much truth out there. -

Or is it too hard to use that muscle called your brain?
Interesting, I'll add that to bookmarks. Have you heard about the Empire of the City? About the Thotmoses story and the VIkings theory?
"Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men's views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the U.S., in the field of commerce and manufacturing, are afraid of somebody. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it."
-Woodrow Wilson, 28th President of the United States. -

Don't you think we need to know the truth?
About what?
no large government can humanly be completely transparent (maybe smaller governments can due to their population size and personal relations.) because of such diversity of characters (some good some very bad) Not saying the government should be completely cloaked...it's just some things should not be revealed to the massive public...not that the US can now....Everybody would probably riot...:D -

Not meant to be disrespectful, but I think you totally miss the bigger picture. -
