EUROPE ONLY PLEASE.

Im making this topic to organize a simple way to get a scrim ( 5v5, etc ) on Crossfire without having to get into the game and get lucky.

This will be available for any person that wants to find a scrim and wants it fast.

Using a IRC channel in a webblog, you are able to chat without having to install mIRC.

Its really simple. You access the website, put your nickname and join the channel.

Nickname : CF Ingame Nickname
Channel : #cfscrim

Channel Rules:

Gaming

- Use your ingame crossfire Nickname. ( for example: uNNibjuR_ )
- Be sure to mention your clan or the pickteam your playing for ( This one is meant for the persons that don't really enjoy playing against some clans with a bad reputation like 1336+1. rawr. )
- When asking for a scrim be sure to use all the info in need ( Looking for a scrim, 5v5 S&D Port or 4v4 random map )

Basic

- Dont spamm or use the channel to random chat
- Dont insult any clan or person
- If you do have admin powers, please be responsable and dont abuse them.

But this games are clans mixed or a player can just enter there, search for a game and play like Gathers in ESL and pugs? Dont need to go whit the clan right?

The objective is to be easier to find scrims or ESL matches or WOGL matches. Dont really have that many strict rules... Even if you dont have a clan just join in and try finding a team that needs a ringer.

I'm not saying this system doesn't have any flaws... But you must realize that the "match" system ingame isn't 100% good. Normally decent scrims are the ones you do in a normal UK server. ( better ping, and if you dced u can join back. )

Already used this in some other FPS games. AA, UT2k4 & UT3. It worked. People just need to act mature and understand the fact that its really fast and easy to just click 1 website and find a decent scrim.

# TOPIC UPDATE #

Just got 3 irc bots for the channel. This way the channel will probably be online 24/7.

Channel Rules

Basic:

- Please, use ENGLISH only to communicate.
- If you are AFK change ur nickname so people can know if you are there or not. To do so type in chat "/nick AFKnickname" or "/nick BRBnickname." etc.

Brb = be right back.
Bbl = Be back later
AFK = Away from keyboard

TIP:

Be sure to be patient. It may take some time for people to read what you typed since at the moment there arent many players in the channel. With time will probably be faster.
