New to Crossfire
Hey everyone.
My name is Kevin and I am new to crossfire. So far it's been great, balanced weapons, good gameplay, pretty good community, and etc.
But I need some help deciding on my first gun. My two current choices are the m4a1 or scar light. If I got the m4a1 now I would have no gp left, therefore taking a long time to get my scar light, or if I waited it out with m16 (my default gun, about 90% of it left) and save for scar l, I'll be set but It'll take much longer.
What do you guys think?
Also any additional tips you may have?
(And this may be a bit stupid (since I just joined) but I'm looking for a clan. My kd is 1.0+ and I love active clans

Go for the M4A1. Scar Light is seen by the community as a noob gun, so they will probably insult you if you use it. Although it may be better than M4A1, the Scar Light does not require the aim that M4A1 does. It's also not allowed in competitive leagues, so if you want to get around the competitive world you better get used to an allowed gun.

Scar Light is a noobcannon it's hard to be recognized as a decent player using it and you won't improve with it. The M4 is a much better rifle once mastered and can be used in all the current tournaments.

Hey u shouldnt buy a scar light,it make u bad and people will say bad things to u,i suggest u should get a m4/ak with a anaconda or deagle(thats ur own Choice) but dont get m12s,sL and that kind of TOO eZeay guns
Aug is pretty usefull too,play some eliminations and the gun wich ur best with u should buy. -

1) During time, you'll notice this game is terrible
2) Don't ever buy scar light, M12s, kriss ( zp ), or tommy ( GP crate ) as those are completely OverPowered and you'll get raged.
3) M4 is a great choice, and over time, you might want to check out the ak-47.
4) Join a clan like Pure or killer buds. They'd be a great place, as they aren't to strict and they're very active. -
Scar light is really well,nooby. Its just completely OP. No recoil,no spread on spray pattern, high accuracy, fastest reload, v.fast rof, quick draw, high power etc etc. Just don't get it, seriously....
m4 is the most solid gun to get in this game - can't go wrong. I'd also recommend ak47, qbz and k2 as good rifles. Save up for a deagle next though, its dead handy. -

I wouldn't consider getting the Scar Light. Not because its OP, but because its easy to use. If you continue to use it for a long time, any other gun you pick up is going to be extremely hard to control
Get the M4 or rank up a little and get the K-2. After that, get the Deagle or Anaconda. -
Welcome To Cross Fire! to answer your question, I'd suggest you get the famas gun at the rank of Sargent it's a marvelous gun, put it in your opponents head, they are as good as out, yes crossfire has improved the famas, it's a 1 hit kill to moderate range now.

I think you should buy the M4A1 because its a very good starter weapon and it is not nooby like the scar light.
But since you just started and you already have a 1.0 kdr I think you should break your m16. And once u finished breaking your M16 you will probably have the rank staff sargent and you can buy the AK-47 which is VERY HIGH POWER BUT has a lot of recoil -
So essentially the scar is an extremely hated on gun and it's banned from tournies? :S
I think I'll go for m4a1 for now.
Should I repair when it's nearly done for or after every match? Is there any way of doing this to save the most money?
break your m16 and m700. When i started you could sell your starting guns, but now z8 have got more and more skanty (less bonuses when ranking etc etc). Get the 20k gp from these (10k gp from both) and use it to get more stuff.
Keep repairing the m4. Also, don't start using crates until you have at least 2 mains and 2 pistols. Unless you buy zp ofc.... -
Redirected to Weapons and Gear. As previously stated, the M4 is a great gun to get while you learn the finer points of the game. The M4 is probably the most common rifle at any level of play, a good M4er will do fine in high level competitive play. Other notable rifles to get familiar with would be the AK47, K2, XM8, and AUG. The SCAR-L is a great gun, but the community considers it overpowered and many leagues don't allow it.

basicaly,u need:
1 precision weapon-m4,xm8,qbz95,k2...
1 power weapon-ak(any will do)-high recoil but good for rushing or close combat-gm
1 heavy sniper-awm or dsr
1 light sniper-psg-rd or msg90
1 submachine gun-mp5,k1,m12(considered noob-but best available in gp shop-thompson and kriss are harder to get)
1 pistol-deagle(any kind) and-or usp
1 melee-axe for coupons
read the forum for suggestions how to get started,get gp,...
with missions and badges and tags u can get everything u need for good account-coupons,gp,some items..
note-DO NOT spend gp on crates in the beggining
i have spent 1 million gp on crates-yes,i counted from my gp log-and got anaconda-adv only
buy only permanent guns
save and buy weapons,but first try them in alaska/crossroad to get the feeling
personally,i buy only weapons i like(how they sound and look,not the best or easiest ones)
after some time,u can get the feeling for any weapon and be good with it(there is no best weapon,because it depends on your style of playing)
and think 5 times before buying a gun,because if u have a chance of getting an adv-camo version,dont buy it,and sell it after because it will be not used once u have a sane type only better,and when u sell gun u lose 2/3 of what u gave for it
and u need 2 nades/flash/smoke for s&d-gm -

Rank up with the m16, and you'll see many choices around you, you should get a xm8 or an ak-47, and, with the experience you've been gaining using the m16 you'll be able to control every other weapon :] -

SCAR is also going to take you a long time to get, definitely go with the m4, its such a solid gun. also get a deagle
the m4a1 is a 3 hit kill to the chest, as the scar light, but, it has a better spray pattern, and it's RoF helps a lot

Well a lot of people seem to hate scar and I think that will include any good clans, which I don't want to ruin my chances of getting into.
