Graphics card

I have the default microsoft xp graphics card and it is horrible. I have fifty bucks and I am considering to buy a geforce 6200 graphics card. Is that enough? Would that solve my problem of lag? (I already have 1.2 g of RAM and the best internet connection (30 ping))

what u mean with "lag"?!? fps = cpu.

try GPUZ it's small programm wich say how much gpu crossfire use. lower ur grafik still running gpuz at background show ur max redings.
