Screw z8's failure to monitor the hacks. Cant they just get the vip hack every time they come out with a new one, and just block it? Like how simple is that?
Also, WHEN IS CF ADMINS GONNA MAKE A INGAME REPORTING DEVICE?!??!?! IM HELLA TIRED OF HAVING TO SAVE AND THEN GO OUT AND FILL OUT ALL THIS INFO, BECAUSE THEY ARE HELLA LAZY. Sorry for the rant, but i speak for half the population (non Br) which hates hackers and glitchers in general, and are tired of having to report in this inefficient and cumbersome way. -
To those who say people are just crying over nothing, you are absolutely RET4RDED. I am 29, have played just about every online multiplayer game EVER. I have been playing this game for like 2-weeks and NEVER have I seen a game with SOOOO many hackers. They run absolutely RAMPANT and to deny this fact is to deny REALITY ITSELF. Z8 can and SHOULD fix the hacks. It is NOT impossible to fix these vulnerabilities. However, it DOES require investment from SOMEONE to have the code examined and debugged and that is the underlying problem. Z8 obviously does not want to spend a PENNY securing their software. I also do not care if it is Z8 who coded it or if it is another company. THEY are the ones selling it so it is THEIR responsibility. It is UNACCEPTABLE to buy a pair of shoes from Payless, walk out and immediately have the rubber sole fall off only to have them tell you its YOUR fault. Anyone who operates with this kind of bizarre logic can't possibly tie their own shoes.
And to the dumb ass girl crying about "STOP STARTING NEW THREADS!", you DO need to learn the purpose of a forum. This isn't a knowledge base, this is a place for conversations. If hacking is STILL a problem (WHICH IT IS) then it, by ALL MEANS, warrants the creation of yet ANOTHER complaint thread. If your electric company turns your power off on accident, you called them once and it's been 2 days, OBVIOUSLY IT IS YOUR DUTY TO CALL THEM AGAIN.

OK 1st of all im not a newbie to this game, ive been playing for manny years now
yeah right...i cant understand why z8 dont charge for accounts ? ok this might not be an option, but they could make a few more servers where the users pay to enter from Account: this could be a simple monthly charge or a one off payment...? most "hackers" are only willing to play for Free... and are either 9 > 13 year old's thinking its fun...!

they can't ban hackers(a lot of em) cause they get thousands of reports everyday, you can't expect them to ban the hackers in 1 day now...Please READ what i have said here and listen this time, because all i see on this forum thread is not people QQ'ing about hackers, but people QQ'ing at the people QQ'ing about the hackers... nothing is getting resolved, nothing is being said that could be of any use or comfort to your users. Just "QQ stop posting these threads" .....

if you think this game has tons of hackers, try Combat Sh.itarms or Warrock
See the post of mine above, and z8games bans hackers, Xtrap blocks hacks, Smilegate Made the game. So STFU and learn some manners...kid -

Now there is Missions, people ( not all ) dont kick hackers or glitchers so as they can win there missions... Im a fan for the mods they have added into the game.. but they need to relise that missions if just anouther reason to hack as is these new ranks... its crazy.
I think nothing well ever be done, and that is sad... just going to play Scrims and Pubs with Clan only... sad -

Why you blaming Z8? They only host the game. And if we have an in-game reporting feature like CA, there's going to be tons of fake reports which will only make matters worse. Hackers will be banned even slower. But when I was looking at the game files, I saw something like it. Maybe we'll have it...
Also at those saying that everyone is stupid because they're tired of you're b1tching, what can do you when its a free to play game? Try Combat Arms, Warrock etc. They're 5x, 10x worse. The system isn't perfect. I hate it too. I dont know why they count non-voters as F12. They shouldn't be counted at all. But what can you do? I bet if we get an even better system, it's going to get abused as well.
I got ideas, they don't really help the voting system but whatever.
Don't count non-voters as F11/F12.
If you get kicked, you keep your kills, deaths, headshots, melee/grenade kills, etc
You keep your EXP and GP.
Now, I know if hackers get kicked they'll keep all of that too, but honestly who cares about them? As long as they're away from the room and you keep having fun its fine. -

We do get the VIP hacks.. but the hackers get what they pay for... the hacks are updated in next to no time.
Also an InGame reporting feature will be abused so bad... noone will get banned.

2 weeks? You joined at the worst possible time. CF is generally hack free until some Vietnamese people release an annoying hack everyone gets...

X-Trap patch the hacks. They also so a very good job at it. Looking at the hack sites often tells me so. But the hackers ALWAYS update before people notice theyve been patched and then often takes longer to get out a permanent patch.. usually with the monthly patch.
Problem hacks (like this one) often have a 1 month lifespan...max.
Others are often patched within the week.
You cant really compare this to an electric company.. its only 1 person having 1 problem.
This is multiple people having the same problem AND it HAS been addressed SEVERAL times. Its a simple search away.
It becomes a knowledge base when 20 people make the same thread and Ive given the same answer 20 times...

I find I spend the majority of my time on these forums explaining why peiople are ignorant rather than chatting to mates for example... -

Because there's too many for me to sit down, write out the complaint, load the video, send the video, and then see them playing the next week No one is complaining directly at Z8 (well I'm not) I'm just saying that the hack.ers are ruining our experiences and I would like to carry on playing but not to play on specific maps because hack.s don't go there :S
your first mistake.. lol you dont need zp to play this game better, just learn, aim and play. take a choice of a weapon stick with it and bam, provided its not banned by wogl

as for the hacks etc, tbh i dont care about them i play decent against hackers or non hackers alike so i really couldnt care however, maybe if some sort of like i dont know pay to play server was added and then that server became priority id sure pay for it. maybe you could pass that on to smilegate and G4 lol
alot of us would be willing, to many stupid guns stupid characters and stupid brainless players in this game id love to play someone decent in a pub for once.
you guys and the devs would probably make a lot of money out it and xtrap so maybe if you did that the xtrap guys and devs would stop playing starcraft 2 and actually do decent patches? lol

what's funny is the life span of the hacks. I mean by this time, I can't believe people are buying or using hacks if they have to repair them every dang month. It seems to be a bit more of a chore than anything else. And why even hack if your hacks have to be repaired and rewritten? It's a game with people from around the world. You are gonna get owned and you have to live with it. Life doesn't have short cuts or cheats that work and apparently these no-lifers and spoiled gremlin brats decide to take these gaming hacks as their only way out of reality.. It is rather sad that that is the case but what else could it be? In any case reporting isn't a big deal. First time I reported it took me all of 5 minutes to send the video and all however it shouldn't be our responcibility to report the hackers. Yes I know you are working on a permanent solution and hopefully it will just get to a point where the in-game kicking is deleted from crossfire all-together since the only ppl that will be left are pros and joes. Suggestions would be for everyone to pitch in and report at least 1 hacker every 3 days. As an example, 10,000 ppl are online. Out of those 10,000 3,000 of them hack. If 6,000 of us report a hacker, all 3,000 of those hackers are seriously reduced. Of course it would be a real team effort as everyone would have to be informed. It's a temporary solution and it will help take out the trash more effectively and sooner than waiting for x-trap to sort things out. Now if people wanna whine "THAT'S NOT OUR JOB!' then let them whine. They just want to play a game and they don't want to see it grow or wait to see what's coming in the new patches.

I always report hackers/glitchers if I see them in the game. Now it wouldn't be so bad if it was only 1 or 2 hackers every 3 or 4 games. But in some MM matches I've reported 7 or 8 hackers/glitchers in one match! I've even saved a .txt file of every person who I have reported. I also pay into this game, and I don't come on the forum and whine about it because it gets you no where. The best thing to do is to report them and the GMs will get around to it, and if you don't want to report them, then just go into another game where there isn't any.
And if you really want to do something about it, create a community planner where only trusted players get together and plan out games and password them so only non-hac.king players can join. -

As for the mods, when you’re a mod on a forum you have to deal with people complaining about stuff over and over... its part of being a mod. I've been there and done your job before on countless boards, so don’t act like its hard work replying to all these "QQ hacking threads". We have the RIGHT to complain about this, if you thought otherwise you would have locked/deleted this thread a long time ago before there were 5 pages.
The entire point of this thread now has become hazy; I just wanted something else done... if x-trap can’t fix the VIP hack quick enough.. Then why not try a VIP server? U have to pay monthly for? Why not listen to people on this forum and not PUT THEM DOWN because it just makes you all seem dumb.
This is a good game and if people would actually listen to the Majority and yes us "QQ'ers" are the majority, then maybe you could actually get some idea's and try something new. Because from where were sitting, the hack situation is only getting worse!

It has really calmed down in MM matches now. I barely see any glitchers now, with an occasional hacker now and then. But if you would have been in MM matches about a week ago, when hacking mutants would warp theirselves to your location, infect you, then go run and hide in a wall.

Almost all of the ones I saw just a few months ago are no longer working. Z8 and X-Trap are doing good for being in a reactive position. Yes. Again, Z8 Games is just a portal. They host the game, they have to wait for X-Trap to to fix the exploits before anything can be done, and I'm not saying you should stop QQing, it's your God given right. But, you are QQing in the wrong forum, you have to go to X-Trap and QQ to them. -

I would have to agree, there are ALOT less hackers than when i 1st started playing...
I just dont understand why they use x-trap ? in the past say month, ive recived maybe 2 or 3 updates from them when i start the game..? And i have to say i've never heard of them before i started playing this game... why use a 2nd rate protection company ?
And i understand that they cant do alot at z8 because its a rented software etc.. but they can make servers for it etc... so why cant they make a VIP server? or even allow users/clans to own servers (rented) ... i for one would rent a server for my clan... this way we can ban selected users/ip's ourselfs... and take control over this whole situation...
Like ive said over and over, z8 and x-trap have over 100,000 ligit members who want to help and they just need to ask... there are ALOT of clans out there that would help.
I for one play almost daily, and the owner of my clan was an ex CF mod... awhile back.... and when you go into the CF-MOD clan's page.. there is like what? 9 members ???????
how manny members are there on CF right now? i would guess at about 250,000+
they have there hands FULL, ... recruit more members to MOD the game.. i for one would do it... if asked.. and i can also name lots more who play daily who have never hacked that would help out.
WE ALL WANT TO HELP, so why dont you want anyone to help?
