World Under Fire

War, one word that can explain what im in the middle of what im in right now. Im on a transport ship. Transporting mostly Guns, Bullets, Grenades, Rockets… mostly everything Global Risk needs to win.
Global Risk is a giant private military corporation without national identity. It is composed of former members of special operations forces and its stated aim is to impose order in an increasingly chaotic world by any means necessary.
Sir Alex Roid and General Edward Wolfe, retired SAS members of the British Army, founded the company after becoming disillusioned with the inefficiency of their governments actions to curb widespread terrorism. At this point, Global Risk was a relatively small operation with the two founders also participating in missions themselves. After General Wolfe was killed in a vicious battle off the west coast of South Africa, Sir Roid was determined to further expand Global Risk’s Military superiority Roid then partnered with Australian-born American businessman and weapons manufacturer, Michael Norman. Together these men quickly elevated Global Risk to an entity with major influence in international affairs.
Global Risk relies on their military prowess and corporate expertise to further solidify their status as the keepers of global order. They have adhered to these principles, becoming the single most successful weapon in the war against terrorism and anarchy in modern society. While Global Risk is allegedly serving the agenda of democratic world governments, some say they are using them to gain further prestige and economic superiority. They have, in fact, been able to achieve the level of a quasi-world power.
And this is were I come in. they have expanded according to plan and have hired the best of the best to protect this ship. We have Wolf Squad, Lead by Gunnery Sergeant Chris. Eagle Squad, lead by Lt. Colonel “Ghost”. and Gold Squad, Lead by the one and only Brigadier General Quinton. In my squad, Wolf. We have Lt. Colonel Chris, CPL. Colton, Staff Sergeant Tyson, and me, Sergeant first class Nathan “Wolf” Freeze.

OCTOBER 14th 2028

Debriefing:
“Listen up Ladies!” the Sergeant yelled and we all snapped to attention. “good… Welcome to New York! Your going to leave on a Transport ship to go to England to supply the 207th of Global Risk and for you to join them! This is a highly classified mission! And if this is a lost, 207th wont be happy. And Black List will be a step ahead of us!” he paused “Gold Squad!” they snapped to attention. “You will be heavy weapons! AA’s, Rockets, Machine Guns! Mostly anything that can make Helicopters explode!” Gold Squad Stood, Saluted, and Left. “Eagle Squad!” The snapped to attention “Sub Machine guns! Snipers! Shotguns! Mostly everything Close and Long Range” Eagle did the same as Gold Squad did. “Wolf Squad!” we snapped to attention “Rifles, nothing else… AK47’s, M4A1’s, SCAR’s! MOVE!” We stood, saluted, and left the Briefing room.

Mission:
Me and Colton were taking are patrol around the ship: Bravo Shark… 1 out of the 3 transport ships. We were talking about after the war. “Dude, when we get paid and get back home. I’m so going to a fast food restaurant!” Colton exclaims, I roll my eyes. “Colton, that’s if we sur-” “Don’t say it!” he yells, interrupting me. I move on. We were able to chose Weapons from the armory before we left from New York to England. I chose the SCAR Light, knowing it’s accurate and deadly. Colton chose the AK47, don’t know why he didn’t chose the M4A1... We walked along untill we met up with 2 Gold Squad Members. Captain Chuck and First Lieutenant Jeff. Both with Thompson’s. they took one look at us and went there way. We looked at each other and Laughed “we can smoke them easily” he looked back at them. I also looked back to see them talking, “Wolf Squad, do we really need them to protect this? This is a Classified mission! We don’t want Trainees to ruin this” and they were out of sight. I grunted and moved faster more, Colton caught up “Dude, they are going to ruin this faster than us” we tries, but I pull out my knife and stab the nearest box. Hoping there’s no grenades in it. There wasn’t. Colton sat down and leaned next to the box. I pulled it out and walked to the armory.
When I got there, Chris and Tyson were grabbing there weapons, with hurry… “Guys!” I yelled, but they didn’t stop. I hear something out side. “What’s happening!” I yelled, they stopped and looked at me. “Black list is here!” Black List is a secretive mercenary organization that advocates the use of violence to halt the spread of corporate capitalism and globalization. They claim that current world powers have used aggressive foreign policy to maintain modern empires, and will use any means necessary to combat their expansion. The Black List organization operates outside of any legal systems, and as a result its origins have remained unknown. Indeed, no one has ever come close to discovering the identities of its leaders. Initially, they were made up of militant groups from war torn nations.
However, recent outrage against global and domestic economic inequality has served to strengthen the ranks of Black List, as more and more embittered former special operations agents have joined the organization. While calling themselves freedom fighters for all oppressed peoples of third world nations, Black List has been a true thorn in the side of globalization efforts by capitalist governments.
Although serving the ambitions of impoverished nations does not net them great profit, they are still able to fund operations through illegal channels and private investors. The label of freedom fighters is not accepted by their opponents, who believe Black List are nothing more than a terrorist outfit bent on destroying democratic ideals.
This is a valid concern, as their efforts have contributed to an increasingly violent world. In other words, they only want money, but they pay more and that means more technology. But I’ll tell you more later. I ran outside with Chris and Tyson, along with Eagle Squad. We saw a helicopter with about 18 Black Risk Fast using Fast rope to get Down! A Eagle Squad had a AT4 and fired it at the helicopter. The Rocket screeched and Exploded with the helicopter, with at least 2 people not including the pilot with it. The Helicopter sun around and crashed into out Com Tower!
I heard yelling and gun shots and I dived to the ground and pulled out my Desert eagle. “Move! Move!” I heard the Gold squad Leader yell. I Got up and ran to take cover behind some boxes. I took a peek to find Chris and Tyson both behind a stack of boxes and firing there guns at them. I saw Colton on the other side of them, fist fighting with a Black List. I ran out and crashed into a Eagle squad member. A girl. “Hey! Stop goofing and start shooting!” she pushed me by and ran to the armory. I was Dazed by her and her yelling, but I recovered and shot a couple rounds at a guy who was about to shoot at Colton. I hit him in the forehead and he fell. I saw Colton’s knife and a Black list knife in front of me. I picked Colton’s up and threw it at the Black List. I almost hit Colton when Gravity kicked in and hit the enemy. Colton grabbed the knife, twisted it, and pulled it out. He saw me and gave me a thumbs up. I ignored it and ran to Chris and Tyson’s aid. “you two need anything?!?” I yelled over the gunshots. Tyson started to reload and looked at me. “Got a grenade?” Tyson asked. I grabbed the one out of Tyson’s belt. he looked at me and nodded “Pay Attention!” I yelled as he threw it around the corner. I ran out of the cover and shot at everyone I saw, but let me tell you, harder than it seems. I felt a sharp pain in my arm, then my left leg, then my foot. I did a front flip and landed on my back. The sun shone in my eyes, then a explosion happened. Dirt and steel flew everywhere. getting into my eyes. I rolled over and crawled forward, toward the enemy. Someone kicked my side and I saw a SAS Black List Mercenary! He aimed his AK74 at me. His foot pressed agenst my chest. “bedienen!” another grabbed the one that was aiming at my gun “intransitive hima!” pointed at me. I don’t know German… the SAS Grabbed me and showed me that Wolf Squad and Eagle Squad was retreating. The girl in Eagle saw me. And I tilt my head down, great… Gold squad was backing up and shooting. The SAS pulled me close and held a Revolver to my head. Gold Squad stopped and backed up faster. “woops” I talked into my microphone. Gold Squad member nodded “Good Luck, don’t die, don’t tell.” was all he said. Thanks, ill remember that when they try to interrogate me. Ill think, WOW! Quinton’s last words were for me not to die and not to tell! WOW! Like I didn’t know that before! I thought as the SAS took me away. Another Helicopter came in and landed next to the Broken Com Tower. The SAS and his friends got me onto the roof of the ship to the helicopter and two grabbed my guns and tossed them down to the ship.

Nathan’s Debrief:
Well, since the mission failed. Time to DeBrief my self! Gold! Eagle! Wolf! You people failed! We Know! The brings Black list a step ahead! Also with new technology! New Weapons! We just started back of the making of Glock’s! and you people lost them! Yes Sir! We Failed, Sir! Dismissed! that’s mostly what are debriefs are, you failed, what happens now, and why we should be guilty… im sitting in a jail cell. It’s in the middle of England. It’s freezing cold out side and all I have is my Compass… and I don’t think that will do good agenst prison guards with AWM’s, M9’s, and M16‘s. So im guessing I should wait untill im saved, or starved.

OPERATION: RED SNOW
OCTOBER 17th 2028
All I can see is Nathans Body and a sharp Cut through his stomach. Checked his heart and it is still beating, but slower, and slower. All I can do his see his face and my tear raining on his face. He saved me through the Prison. Without him, Escape just couldn’t happen. Gold Squad and Wolf Squad was already past us. And right now… I cant tell if were going to make it or not. What he said made me cry again, “I feel like I failed everyone, you, Chris, Quinton, Wolf squad, Gold squad, and your squad” He then closed his eyes and relaxed. I looked at our snowmobile, Broken beyond repair… I looked the opposite way we were going, to the prison. I let Nathan lay down and I started to dig a hole under the rock. Dug for about a hour untill it was okay for me and Nathan to sleep in. So I dragged him into it. I then whispered into his ear “ill be right back Nathan, im going to get us a way out of here…” but I saw snow in his eye! He must have lost his vision since the warden ripped his Hood and Goggles off! I ran out side and then checked the snow mobile. I found 6 pickaxes, I grabbed all of them, then set 4 of them into the cave. I connected the pickaxes to both of my Sleeves then I planted them in the snow. I started my climb, I looked back for just a second, and I saw Nathan standing, leaning against the rock. One hand on his wound, another giving me a peace sign.

Seeing Elce leave… one thing I hate to see, but she saved me. If we had different snow mobiles, I would be dead and she would have been gone. I see were she’s going, the prison… the only problem is that if she gets captured, or me… I don’t want to be in another prison. So I get back into the cave. I pull out my Black Journal, on the cover, it shows in Silver Letters “Journal” I opened it and pulled out a pen. I wrote in “Alone in a Snow Cave, my only Friend left to save me again. My squad left with Gold Squad back home for Hot Chocolate and Burgers. And im only waiting for the end of this nightmare” I close my Journal and put it away. I looked out side again and saw Elce Riding a Snowmobile down the hill. With a extra pair of goggles in her hand. She stops next to the Rock and ran to me. She knelt beside me, she put the goggles on me and hugged me, she went back, parted her lips and kissed my cheek. I held onto her as we got on the Snowmobile. She put her Goggles on and turned it on. “27.43 Alpha, were getting to the ETA site” she radioed in as she turned the snow mobile on “15 minuets Elce” I heard “we’ll be there in 10” she smiled to me. I held on good, not too tight. Elce accelerated forward and we were riding down a Hill to ETA. I saw more snowmobiles, Global Risk ones! They looked at us and nodded. And they guided us to the ETA… there, Elce Leaned on me. I laid back against the Helicopter walls. She closed her eyes and slept

SECRET NEW YORK GLOBAL RICK HOSPITAL
OCTOBER 20th 2028

Laying on a hospital bed alone with Elce. We talk about the mission, “at the cave when you came back… you-” “yeah, I kissed you cheek… only because you saved me. And I saved you” I sat up “So you don’t like me?!?” I blurted out “I do… but that was a accident. I do like you, but I only did that so you will get courage” I got tense “Really?!? Courage!?! I had enough Courage with you with me!” she scooted back in her seat, and her eyes got filled with sadness. And gave me a look that said listen-I-only-did-it-so-you-will-trust-me I laid back and she moved forward. I put one hand on my wound and another in her lap. She got up and left, making my arm fall to the side of my hospital bed. She opened the door and left me alone. I saw my Journal open beside me, open. So I leaned over an grabbed it. I saw a bookmarked page and I saw in highlighted words “My only friend left to save me” I couldn’t speak, but a note slipped out. I looked at it and it read “Nathan, thanks for saving me. I don’t think 20 and a warden vs. me could have escaped. I wish you luck of other Ops, what happened there was just for courage. And you did it. Nathan, if you were any better, you would have been a Gold. But I guess im lucky that you do Ops with me…Head to the training ground, and bring everything you have… Never Forever Together, BGE” I rolled my eyes Brigadier General Elce I said in my mind.
