Why can't we have pictures in signature + more text?

I would like this because I want to put my signature picture in.
Also I just want to type a few more details about me, such as my Xfire.

If you don't allow this, please give me a reasonable answer, such as "inappropiate content is unallowed".

And yeah, you can't put them in your signature, just text atm.

I would love to see, them and some mod actualy said that we were gonna get them..

I dont know, but maybe this Forum software doesnt support that much "bytes" of signature pics etc...
You already know about the lagging Homepage or no? What do u think will happend if every user got a signature with a big pic? It would lag more lol ;o

I don't think the forum page would link to the forum right now. We especially need to think about fixing the laggy clan page, since there are many users on the database.

Whats ur idea?
Im sure there are alot players in the database, but that is not the thing that makes the page lagging.
Im sure the Log is already filled with alot ****s, maybe this can be changed, or transfered to another dedicated server

But like i said.. maybe this forum software isnt that good enough to let all user use signatures.
There is not even a "name" for this forum, maybe its vBulletin, but im not sure.

we arnt allowed to do so becuase z8 dosnt want to have to spend the enormous time & manpower to moderate the pictures that get posted on there fourms.

it may not seem to you but simple stuff like making sure no one posts any offensive signatures, takes alot of work.

they would rather just not let us have pic signatures and focus more "work" in other places.
..at least thats what they said.

Why don't you just post it at the end of every post instead of a signature until we get what we want? anyone up for a petition? :eek:

Too many signatures would probably have an effect on their servers at Z8 HQ. Plus on the increasing prices of internet bandwidth, it'l cost less if we didn't have picture sigs.

They have said for over a year that soon they will put in a system where we will get a karma system, and that the karma system would somehow relate to us being allowed to have pics in our sigs.

Same goes for replays... soon.

I'm a member of another forum, same host and signatures are allowed up to 400x135

They've done a signature-at-every-post 'test' in the Metin forum section. It turns out that most joined in and there was no moderator concerned with that post... I'd prefer not to do a signature at every post though. I'll get too lazy.
