Game Will Not Start
http://s83.photobucket.com/albums/j285/chibidarkstar/?action=view¤t=HGWC.mp4
Watch this clip, the game does this to me no matter what I try to do. I am running as the admin... I know that has been one of the suggested solutions.
There are no error codes or anything else to go on, after HGWC finishes Crossfire should start up but nothing happens other than HGWC running in the list of processes.
This computer is running Vista. My other computer does not have a problem. They are hooked to the same router, and modem.

Thats not helping me!! -
You'd think that more people would be on here complaining... I mean it has to be all XP users? And it just currently happen with the last patch they did, so obviously it's something they can fix if it worked before?
I'm not a genius but aren't they kind of shooting themselves in the foot with lost revenue? If half of the computers around the world can't play the game why would the owners of those computers pay $?
According to a couple articles I dug up XP is 57%-75% of the worlds computer users.
"....but it’s the good ol’ Windows XP that powers the huge chunk of the computers around the world, Microsoft admits. To be specific 74 percent, or about three in every four PCs worldwide are still running loyal to XP."

That's a ton of potential money lost for Crossfire..... -

So we're seriously never going to have word on this problem being fixed? I'll sell you guys my PC for $500 and ship it to you so you have the problem in your hands even. -
I have the same problem as well, posted something about this about a week ago it never was replied to.
I use xp as well, redownloaded, shut antivirus and firewall, run as admin, redownloaded, set as exeption for anti virus.
Nothing working, no replies.
hopefully someone could give us a hint if there is a solution or not.
