Zoom sensitivity?
*this only applies the PRO Players who play with mouse accel OFF, if u don't know what mouse accel is, your help is NOT needed
-sry there's just too many noob-****s on crossfire
can someone tell me the zoom sensitivity ratio to normal Sensitivity?
does it even exist?
any pro counter-strike player should know there's a zoom_sensitivity_ratio, that's what i mean
like
Sensitivity:5
Zoom sensitivity:25
moving my mouse 2 cm would turn me 90 degrees in-game un-scoped
and while zoomed would turn me 45 degrees(i think)
but idk the exact ratio so could someone (preferably a GM) tell me?
again no idiots plz

Depends on your mouse and your mouse settings... the DPI, Pull Rate, oh and your windows sensitivity.
For example, here is my mouse:
Razer Imperator
max DPI 5600
max Pull Rate 1000mhz
Here is my set up:
1600 DPI
250mhz
Acc off
windows sens: 3
In-game (CF) sens for me is:
11 nomal-sens
29 zoom-sens
All-in-All its about the players feel. It's more of a personal thing. You just gotta find your sweet spot. -

You can't turn mouse accel off in this game...just FYI. -

The zoom sens goes by a ratio in crossfire as well. 20 zoom sens = 1.0 zoom sens in CS. so
18 = .9
16 = .8
14 = .7
12 = .6
etc... -

i got mine at the dollar tree - only difference is it breaks like every hour and sometimes doesnt shoot
now only if I got higher than 15 fps in a 1v1 ... -
Depends on your scoping magnification factor...
The TAR-21 seems to be x2 so for that I use:
Sensitivity: 50
Zoom sensitivity: 25 (half the normal sens.)
That's the key to keep things proportional.
The AWM has two magnifications, so there's no golden rule. -

Really? Damn. No wonder every time i try to go back to cs its all ***ed for me lol.
CF
Sens 54
Zoom 34
CS
7.5 sens
1.3 zoom
I also use a horrible 5$ mouse. -
my zoom is always on 17 and i use around 7-8 normal sens. you guys use WAY to high zoom sensitivities... People using 40 zoom sens is using double your normal sensitivity. Using 50 ingame and 40 zoom is just stupid. Even though your zoom is a smaller number than your normal, thats like using 100 sensitivity while scoped in.

and see ALREADY a bunch of idiots have trolled this post to ****
I DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT SENSITIVITY U USE, AND I DONT CARE IF U USE A BALL MOUSE, OK?
and listen, if you don't know what mouse acceleration is, you don't need to know, and MAYBE U COULD GOOGLE
and YES YOU CAN DISABLE MOUSE ACCEL IN CROSSFIRE, (no im not gonna teach you how)
that CPL Mousefix is completely clean, but that's not what i'm asking for here
that's wrong, go try it yourself, 1.0 zoom sensitivity in cs means it turns half as fast as un-scoped, but having 10 normal sens and 20 scope sens would be way too slow to be half in crossfiresheepbacon2 wrote: »The zoom sens goes by a ratio in crossfire as well. 20 zoom sens = 1.0 zoom sens in CS. so

from my experience 5x normal sensitivity seems to be = to 1.0 zoom_sensivity in cs
REALLY? NO GMs COULD ANSWER ME?
i'll make it simple for u to understand
imagine me facing north,
my Mouse sensitivity is on 5
i move my mouse left 2 CM, i turn 180 degrees
now i zoom in (single scope) with my AWM
zoom sensitivity on 25
i move my mouse left 2 CM, i turn 90 degrees
THAT Would be 2:1 ratio, 0.5, 5x,
normal sensitivity x5 to get 2:1 zoom sensitivity
do ppl understand now?
i made that up and i dont really know if it's true, so could someone provide me with some accurate information? -

umad bro??
how about you figure it all out and make a guide -.-
GM's wont answer to this bc they probably dont know lol.. this game is not a quality game.. u might as well stick with CS -

you should really stop talking down to people
1) you can't disable mouse accel in crossfire, it's built into the game engine. even if you use markc's mousefix.
2) the "ratio" doesn't work like it does in cs or css. Don't compare it to cs, because without an fps lock your sensitivity will always be different.
About all you can do is just get something that feels similar most of the time. -

1) yes you can disable mouse accel, it's just because the cf engine if ****ed up,
solution = start game with enhanced pointer precision, join a game, alt tab and disable enhanced pointer precision, Apply. Go back in game and BAM, no mouse accel
2) yea i expected, just wanted to know how hany ppl have messed with it and what their results were
