Download East or West Coast server?

OK. I downloaded West Coast mirror 1 for Crossfire and my ping averages from 50-60 on alpha , bravo , charlie. I want to max it out to about 10 and below.
Anyways I live in Illinois. Is there even a difference which coast I download? If it does post it here

Must be because i downloaded east cost and my ping averages 100-400, i live there too so ima try downloadin West coast

Well since nobody has even answered the guys question...
The coast you download the game from determines how long/fast it will take to download the game (kbs). Your actual ping is dependant on your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and where you live on the Earth.

LMAO i luv the facepalm guys. Anyways the west and east coast only affectes the download speed, not your fps.
