Computer Connection, help

Ok, so. I want my computer in my room. Now, our ISP is Bell, and what were doing right now is this.



So basically, the internet connection is coming from the phone jack, with a special connection. (no, not dial up)

Now, to get my computer with internet connection in my room, I could either get a long connection cord, or have wireless.

BUT, the idea came to my head, and i thought that: Since right now the internet is coming from the phone jack, can i just plug my computer into the phone jack in my room, and have internet.

So, like this



Ok, if anyone knows what I mean, and what im thinking of, please give me back some feedback.

If this would NOT work, does anyone have some suggestions, to get my computer into my room the cheapest way, with still a fairly good internet connection.
