z8 gave u a knife to use it... not to show it... and if people use it to their own profit, well... learn to shoot em fast when coming from middle (the only way they can reach u or being rambo getting throw snipers xD)... and jumping side to side to get em clearly...

The logic behind this fails:
1.there is no set character hands with no weapons in them that I know of.

2. It is possible to run out of ammo and then what? How about if you were in a 1v1 in Prison? Who are you going to get your Sniper rifle from? What if you both run out of ammo, Then you both wont be able to kill each other and one of you will have to RQ the game.

3. If this was to happen; another melee weapon such as punching would be taken into effect as an alternative. (Hands without guns look like crap btw)

4. If you make it to where you cannot use knives in one type of mode, it will be implemented into all modes; thus making it easier to run out of ammo with automatic weapons.

5. Quick shots/scopes will be made impossible when removing the knife.

6. You will have to run around with a very large and heavy rifle for the rest of the Game.

Epic fail idea fails again.

not every one uses an awm. i ran out of bullets many times using msg and psg/rd.

some people are good enough to stay alive until they shoot all bullets

Just because you're gonna QQ because you can't no scope or quickscope someone who's right in your line of fire doesn't mean everyone else needs to suffer.

What should we use as a sub for the QQ quickscope trick huh? A scar light?

A bigger problem is laggers imo. If they're not spiking all over the place, they're usually free kills.

Lmao in other words you aren't good enough to kill knifers. Just treat them as practice for quick scope or drag scope or sumthing. If you keep getting killed by knifers it means:
-You need more practice
-You are scoping in too long
Tips against knifers:
-Take distance
-Predict where they will move. If they jump a lot just go to the spot where they will land and just wait and shoot.

No. You want us to walk around with snipers? Do you realize how heavy they are... If you can't snipe people knifing you, don't snipe because you suck.

if you can´t deal with knifers in sniper-matches you should probably consider being a rifler.

i just had one of my better scores on prison thanks to four, very motivated, knifers :=)

WELL! if there was a way to disable using your knife until you ran out of ammo which then is activated. same as you cannot drop your weapon til it is out of ammo. you can still swap to knife for qs just not slash or stab.
then if some guy wants to sit in the corner wasting 35 shots from an awm so he can pull out his knife just so when he runs out he introduces himself with the end of my Artic warefare magnun...

haha, good idea, but no. Sometimes in a sniper match when I need to reload and I'm in CQC I switch to my knife it's quick and I might get a kill... knives also add variety to the sniper game (prison), if I'm sneaky I make my way down (where I can get sniped easily) then I go and knife some people... They always gotta watch their backs xD

Reasons not to 'ban' knives already stated:
- We'd have nothing when we run out of ammo.
- Quickscoping
- General running
- What if you have no sniper?

with my idea i meant u can still take out your knife, it just doesnt work til your out of ammo. and if you have no sniper...
