Server Instability

Seriously, before I didn't think it was all that big a deal, merely a coincidence and a minor flaw in the system. But roughly around this time EVERY night the game becomes so unbearable to navigate/login/play at most cases. Its basically the x-mas patch of last year every night. Ridiculous.

What have they done to make it this bloody faulty? It was never this bad. Ever. Except for the aforementioned period. Its a complete joke when you even try to log in at times you are confronted waiting 5 minutes for it to go past the screen after hitting enter to only get knocked back out of the game unless your lucky. Just finished a game? Chances are you might be met with a 'Loading Results' window for another 5 minutes only to display a blank page ot kicked to lobby and find you got zilch. Oh, and lets not forget thats even if you manage to even finish a game...

I have yet to see any server improvements, seems only to be a slow degradation overall. What the heck are these maintenance patches for if they don't fix them? All I want is to play my game when I can, a bit to much to ask? Guess so considering the people in it one has to put up with.

Hmmm Very interesting, I never have all those problems.. But I do have a problem with the Login. Its a wonder what would cause such a problem to their servers....

Also in Dilike about the fact that you have to login really fast and cant let the CF screen idly sit. It is a minor pain, but you know, it would be nice if these little inconvieniences were out of the way. It is the details that make a good game great, and until CF actually listens to the players... the population which plays CF will never grow exponentially.

i get the same problem i get heavy lagg my ping is always 70-75 but when this problem comes my ping goes 250+ and thats not good

Most likely your connection. Since everyone uses your ISP at that time at night. Buy a better internet connection/get a proper ISP.

I've never had a problem, my ping barely changes from 6

I get on average 10-20 ping on the servers even when downloading and still beat 90% of most people's internet connection. Its far from slow. Secondly its not the ISP because its been happening to more people than just those in my region. Its the CF servers. Since only crossfire is affected. My downloads (if any), web browsing or other games work perfectly fine.

And how does EVERYONE use an ISP at basically midnight? Most people aren't even up that late. Which is why I'm usually on.

Ah... Night two of the terrible crisis of the server instability scenario all over again. Clearly this is not some random occurrence if it happens around this time every time, no? No one is safe. XD Someone forgot to pay their server bills? Or is someone having a good ol' time messing with our heads?

Tsk, and I was having a blast ticking off GR and BL alike owning in GM with my m60. lol seems people cry even about guns and can't learn to listen even with such. Its not like I spray. XD

Sadly my fun was cut off by the abrupt server disconnect as usual. Sigh, when will they fix this?

Guaranteed night three will yield the same results. I'm sure I could get over a months worth of pages for each day. Wonder when they will notice.

Captains log star date 1103210; we encountered yet another odd phenomenon during our travels of yet another disruption among the crew, rather severe as always and sudden, but this time much sooner than all the others. Possibly a sign of it getting more frequent? Only in a few hours will one tell. It comes without warning and without mercy. The whole area can be heard with echoed groans.
