What is the point of the breath effect while sniping?
When you're in-scope sniping if you wait a bit the player starts to inhale and exhale. Realistically the sniper scope should move around. Sort of like a steady bounce. Ik this isn't COD & I don't even like COD that much but would'nt it make more sense? Maybe holding the middle mouse button to hold your breath? (Keep it steady)

would make it to hard to quickscope and thats what most snipers do in scrims. -
Crossfire doesn't feature advanced realism like in Bad Company 2, just an example. You're basically handling a Quake 2 railgun with a scope on it.
Crossfire is all about jumping around quickscoping, has to do more with reflexes than actual marksmanship. I don't really mind the realism factor, else I wouldn't be playing that game.
A STAR with a turkey on her head and a pumpkin on her back, handling a gatling gun against hordes of mutants isn't what I call realistic. -

Well yea. Just adding things to the core gameplay making it seem more realistic. (besides those stupid chars) Isn't so bad right? -

I mean, as soon as you zoom in, the breath would instantly move the crosshair a little bit.
But yeah I know Quickscopes are barely seen in most cases, but if your like me and Quick/drag (Quickscope while dragging across) you stay zoomed in for like .5 seconds longer and that could be effected. -

Cell Phones once weren't a realistic idea. Like back in Starcraft the communicators, like cell phones now.
If you look back at many sci-fi things, many come realistic at some point
Who knows, maybe one day, you'll be wearing a turkey hat, so you have food, a gatling gun, and hiding with a bunch of girls in stripper clothes protecting yourself from mutants xD -

It's steady enough. Aim+reflex=kill. lacking in either, you're more likely to die.5ReactOluwa wrote: »Maybe holding the middle mouse button to hold your breath? (Keep it steady)

I quick scope really well in Sniper Ghost Warrior, but not on CrossFire, relevant, no, but it goes to show that it takes skill
or practice at least -

Well....that almost sounds like an idea for a movie....XD -
Do you hold your breath when you shoot a gun or do you release it just before you fire?

IRL? You exhale completely before squeezing the trigger. If you're taking multiple shots though then you inhale.
